Denise Apartments

My parents stayed at the Denise apartments back in May 2006, they had such a good time that they returned again this year and brought me and my family along with them.
I would recommend the Denise to anyone. The place is so nice and the people are so friendly, especially Nikos, Effie, Maria and little Ziggy who made us feel so welcome.
Nikos is a great host who knows how to entertain whether its a karaoke , Greek night, giving out shots of ouzo or giving my boyfriend deadly submarines! Even after our first time I felt so comfortable and will definitely be returning next year!!

I put a comment on this website just after my 2006 holiday to Kos and thought I’d put another after this one.
The Denise hasn't changed one bit. It's still fun, boiling hot and Nikos and Maria are still great. The only change is that in November Nikos will be a dad and husband.
My family and I met up with the friends that we met last year and it was great to see them again. Actually they are Mr. Warrender and his partner, who I know by his comment that they share my opinions of the Denise apartments.
So, if anyone out there wants to go on holiday to Kos, the Denise is the place to go!

A truly amazing holiday can be had at the Denise Apartments. We've had 2 fantastic holidays 2 years running at the Denise.
Whilst Ziggy the dog is adorable, it is the warm and friendly hospitality of Maria and Nikos and family that make so many guests return year after year.
The Apartments are located far enough away from the Kos to avoid noise etc. of an evening but close enough to walk into Kos. For those who are less energetic there are regular buses to town and taxis are cheap as chips.
Whilst Olympic offer excursions etc, Nikos offers his own form of entertainment by way of Karaoke nights, fabulous Greek Nights, and the occasional opportunity to play football against teams from other local apartments.
My partner and I first visited Denise Apts in 2006 and loved it so much we were back again this year (2007). We made fantastic friends there (you know who you are) and are aware of several others who have made friends there and return annually.
Nikos and Maria make all guests (old and new) very welcome and I would recommend the resort to anyone young or old.

Staying at the Denise apartments was one of the things that made my holiday to Kos so special.
I especially loved Maria's dog Ziggy, he was so friendly and even came up to our apartments.
We loved our holiday so much that as soon as we got back we booked up again for next year.
We made great friends who are coming again next year. We had a karaoke night and 2 of Nikos' specialties, Greek nights. Beware though the ouzo is lethal.

We have been going to the Denise Apartments since our son Harry was 1years old, he is 8 now. We cannot put into words how welcome you are made and what a great time we always have.
The family have become friends as well as hosts. We cannot wait to return. Well done all of you, you are all a credit to the holiday business. We will continue to come as long as we are able.

I was staying at the Aristo apartments which were a 30 min walk from the Denise apartments. My family were all staying at the Denise and we made the trekk on pushbikes each day and again in the evening to spend time with them.
The Denise apartments are made by the fact that Nikos and Maria made us so very welcome even though we were staying elsewhere. My family had been to the Denise in 2003 and had raved about it then. Nothing had changed.
Nikos took me to a football match last week and the relaxed family atmosphere made it a holiday to remember. Maria made the kids so welcome and we were all on first name terms after a couple of days. The only down side to the Denise is that it does not sleep 5 people and hence I had to book elsewhere.
If you can get in - book it without a doubt if you want the friendly Greek family atmosphere.

I have to say I have been on many Holidays of which I have enjoyed but I have never enjoyed a holiday as much as I did in Kos town staying at the Denise apartments. I had a fantastic holiday there. I would definitely recommend the Denise Apartments for young people and families. The Denise Apartments is run by the friendliest people I have ever met who cannot do enough for you. The Apartments run by Nikos are clean and spacious with good surrounding gardens. Your Apartment is cleaned daily.
The Pool is a nice size with clean water and if you feel a bit peckish than I recommend the pool bar, which serves up delicious food. I would certainly recommend their ham and cheese pizza, steak and cheese melt and chicken souvlaki.
As for the staff well what can I say Maria is a great cook and a friendly person swiftly moving on to Nikos. Nikos. Well what can I say. He is the sexiest bloke I have ever seen with all the girls drooling over him. He’s got that charm and hell have you eating out of his hand after your very first day. He is a complete and utter babe. He is very friendly and I am yet to see him without a cigarette unhappy or not laughing and joking around. He will make you feel welcome and is constantly giving you as much free ouzo as you can drink.
The entertainment they pull off is great. The Karaoke nights are hilarious as are the Greek nights. You will fell so welcome and like one of the family. I would definitely give the Denise apts 10/10 and my family and me are planning to go back next year. I totally forgot Nikos isn’t the only babe. There is little ziggy the dog of course.

The friendly family run apartments offered something to suit everybody. The owners Nikos and Maria were very welcoming and took every opportunity to ensure that your holiday was as enjoyable as possible. You were treated as friends rather than holiday makers and provided with as much free Ouzo as you could drink!
The apartments are very well kept. the gardens were beautiful and the maid service was regular. The pool area was clean and there was never a shortage of sun loungers.
The location of the apartments was convenient. It was only a short walk to bars, shops, restaurants and supermarkets. However it was quite a distance from the centre of Kos Town which was not made clear in the brochure. However there was alot of cheap transport available with bikes to hire at a small cost and a taxi ride into town costing only 5 euros.
