Turkiz Hotel Thalasso Centre & Marina

We (6 adults & 2 infants) visited Turkiz Hotel for one week during June 2007 with All Inclusive packages. We were lucky because it was not crowded because the swimming pool is relatively small. Service in hotel is under expectations - All Incl tourists are served very slow and very unfriendly in order to discourage second orders. The hotel is very well situated right by the harbour and close to the town shops (more on those later). The beach chairs and umbrellas were very good with decking provided for half of the area and sand laid down for the other half. The entry to the beach itself is pebbles though so don't expect to sit on sand dipping your toes in the water. The hotel is very clean and bedrooms themselves are spacious although the bathroom we had (sea view) was tiny and you couldn't sit on the toilet and close the door you had to decide one or the other.... more

Very nice and spacious rooms with nice balconies. Good restaurant at rooftop. Private beach and great health and spa facilities.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was generally very helpfull and at "your" service. The food was very tasty and the breakfast buffet had a nice varity of foods, and they also served excellent omelette from an outdoor bar. The dinner buffet was OK, but I would recommend the Turkish night at the Türkiz appartment hotel a few blocks away, which is served once or twice a week, and had excellent food. No doubt, the hotel is beautiful: The rooms, the location, the restaurant, garden and of course, spa. However the service as simply dreadful. It started even BEFORE I arrived! I was meeting up with my girlfriend at the hotel who had reserved the room in her name (as a package with her flight) and was scheduled to arrive at the hotel several hours after her. The place is simply beautiful. Stuff is very polite. Our room was big and clean. We chose a garden view room and it was for the best, since “see view” rooms are exposed to clubs on the beach and it could get very noisy at night. Food was excellent. I would definitely recommend taking a “half board” since once you see the dinner buffet you would not want to go anywhere else. Overall, it is a beautiful place to go for vacation.

we had a very good relaxing stay at the Turkiz. Excellant food and good service in the dining room. Even when full the dining room was quiet and relaxed. Clean, comfortable room.

We booked the Turkiz on the internet and kept our fingers crossed. We arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning and complimentary coffee, soft drinks and sandwiches were sent to our room, nice touch! We were a party of two adults and two children and stayed in the "garden room" when means at the front of the hotel facing the hills, no noise. We found the hotel to be a high four star if not five. We would totally recommend the Turkiz Hotel. Booked by internet and never quite sure what you're going to get so very pleased to find this hotel is very clean, has spacious air conditioned rooms and a good location overlooking beach and 3 minute walk to centre.If you get a chance use the Thalasso Spa it is very professional and offers a number of treatments, you also recieve a complimentary visit to the spa pool. We have just returned from a ten night stay at the Turkiz hotel Kemer. What a lovely hotel, staff were friendly and the rooms to a very high 4* hotel in England. Maids were absolutely great, the level of cleanliness is also exceptional (which you would expect in a 5* but don't always get!). We had booked a junior suite with a sea view which was very comfortable and worth it for the extra space - PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THE SEA VIEW IF YOU WANT TO BE KEPT UP UNTIL 3AM MOST NIGHTS WITH THE LOUD MUSIC AT THE BAR OPPOSITE!!!!
