There is a wash basin provided to wash clothes in, if required and doesn’t need to be done in the sink. Dionysia runs what could be considered a small farm, with hens and a goat nearby. The rooster might wake some of the lighter sleepers but I got used to it after a day or so. There is a small family of cats nearby so if you are allergic to/or just don’t like cats make sure your balcony door stays shut if you are in the 1 bedroom apartments on the ground floor. Upper floor studio apartments have no such problems.

The Olympic rep (*****) was extremely helpful but be warned that the excursion prices set by Olympic can be found in the nearby local tour operators at almost half the price!! Shame on you Olympic! We got friendly with the staff at Asklipios Tours. Both Extremely friendly and helpful and set us up on our tour to the nearby volcano of Nyssiros. Some restaurants to recommend are the Golden Fleece, Rainbow and The Argo.

A cracking bar to go to is Acropol quite near the apartments. Ask for *****, a lovely friendly Greek lass whose husband is the bus driver to Kos Town! Tell her David and Morag say hello! :-) Kefalos is a nice quiet resort. Just a couple of clubs at the other side, if your looking for a drinking holiday and clubbing to the dawn then go to Kardemena (or Blackpool as the locals call it!), if you want a relaxing chilled out holiday then Kefalos is ideal. We will be going back next year for our 3rd year in a row. <br>
