Tugay Hotel

Family run Hotel, Owners were so helpful and would do what they could for you Day and night. Rooms were cleaned Daily, Towels changed 3 times a week, Pool water was changed twice in the week we stayed. Air con charged seperatly but at £20 for a week was an essential addition as temprature was 39 oC plus. Hotel Ideally located within a short walk to the beech, but far enougth to be nice and quiet at night. Many resturants along the Beech front, try the Turkish Buffet from 10TL per person. A small, clean and peaceful hotel. Lovely pool and a good breakfast (Turkish style: Bread ham cheese egg salad cereal jams honey juice tea coffess). Only a short walk from the main strip in Calis. Room was small but that was never a problem for us. Air condition £3 a night but you do need it. Shared a balcony. Snacks and soft drinks available. The bar was really just bottled beer and a few different spirits. Definitely would return to this hotel.

i was a bit apprehensive when i said yes to this hotel as we were booked into the Sevi which was on the opposite corner on the main road,but i was so please when we got there,you never saw anyone in the pool at the Sevi but at the Tugay,my daughter who is 16 was invited by the turkish people to join them playing in our pool.The owners were very nice people and told us if there was anything else i wanted for breakfast they would accomodate.there were a lot of turkish people in the hotel which was fine, we made friends with a few english... more

This small basic hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so friendly they really cannot do enough to help.The room had twin beds, a large clean wardrobe with plenty of hangers and also free security box. There was a small bed side cabinet dressing table and arm chair. As advertised a hairdryer,fridge and TV were also supplied.The balcony was shared with next door and like the room ,a little on the small size overall, but what else would you honestly expect for the money!The bathroom was( essential for me ) clean too! Just got back from Calis after staying in the Tugay. Superb value for money. Rooms absolutely spotless, cleaned every day, towels changed every day, nice quiet location but handy for everything. The owner, Ilpay & his wife & staff will make you very welcome at this "small & friendly" hotel. The pool area is large,safe & kept very clean by the hotel staff & not too deep for kids., the breakfast adequate & public transport to & from Fethiye is just at the end of the road,if you wish to use it. Just got back from a week in the Tugay. Clean, quiet, well located hotel with a wonderful welcome. The owners and staff can not be praised too highly. My partner had a medical problem whilst there, but the owners generosity of spirit when it was needed most will live with us forever. The Tugay sits at the lower end of the price scale but is 5 star service. Fabulous!

I have stayed at this hotel on several occassions. The owners are extremely nice people who can't do enough for you. The hotel is cleaned thorougly on a daily basis by the house keeper and the pool is large and spotless. There are also snacks and drinks available all day at a reasonable price. This hotel is in a quiet location however it is only a five minute walk to the beach. The local transport is a stones throw away therefore giving you the opportunity to discover this region at leisure.

We went to the Tugay hotel for a late break in Sept 09 ,We had no idea what to expect ? . To our surprise the hotel was in a very quite location but not too far from the bars and restaurantes,The rooms are a little small but thats not a problem as they are kept very clean by the housekeeper ,in the rooms there is a safe ,tv , hair dryer , fridge (no charge) air con they do charge for this.The owner and his family run the hotel with a warm welcome and after 1 week we felt like family ,all we can say is we had a great week in the sun in... more
