Titanic City Hotel

Modern hotel with good facilities. Nice room, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. Staff more efficient than friendly. Down side was room very warm.

Just to say that I called at the foyer at this hotel to ask for directions. I was a bit put off initially by the metal scanner you have to pass through at the entrance. I was ignored for a couple of minutes and so I stepped forward to ask one of the concierges standing behind the counter if he could tell me where the Avis car hire office was. He told me not to step beyond the desk and asked if I was staying in the hotel. I said I just wanted directions and so he ignored me and wandered off. its the 4th time i visited istanbul and it was the first time i stayed at a 4 star hotel (all other times i chose a 5 star hotel). I was informed that it was recently renovated so i thought that at least it would be "new". This hotel is very clean, with very good breakfast, friendly service, central location, comfortable rooms. I would rate this hotel more like a 5 star in comparison to other 4 stars in Istanbul. I recommend it for your stay. The only thing to watch out is when ordering taxi through hotel staff, they will charge you extra for this service without letting you know, If you need a taxi or van or hiring for a day contact the taxi firm directly yourself to avoid paying extra money, and always check the price with other taxi firms as well,... more

Hotel is really on great position. But we had a really bad experience with staff. They robed us on our first day. And everything that management did was to send us two kiwis. Really bad service.

over priced for what we recieved (110 euros/night). the room was a large double room, a plumbing problem which the management have been aware of had not been resolved some of the hotel rooms have a swerage smell. The management offered to change rooms. clean rooms with comfortable beds.staff are friendly and helpfull.loby is well furnished and since it has been opened for about 8 mounths furnichers are new.breakfast is excellent.bathroom is clean and room service was ok.

Excellant location near Taksim square. Polite, efficient staff. Well furnished rooms , good amenities. Satisfactory food. Minibar overpriced.

We recently stayed here as part of a group and thought it was a lovely hotel. It's only recently opened so everything is very clean and new. The hotel room was lovely, it was a bit small, but adequate for two people but the bed was lovely and comfortable and the bathroom was very good with a large shower and very good water pressure. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from Taksim Square and so is very central to Istiklal Caddesi for finding restaurants. We ate in a lovely fish restaurant called Vespa which was in Istiklal about a 10 min walk... more
