Submitted By: Mr M DudleyFirstly, the service and staff were excellent. The waiters/waitresses at breakfast time and during evening meals were always ready to help, cleaning tables, and providing everything that was needed. The staff at the snack bars were also very friendly, completeing orders quickyl even when busy, and making sure all rules were followed. Also, our party booked two rooms, we wanted them together and we were told they were 6 floors apart. The staff sorted it out immeditly, getting us 2 next door rooms, excellent service !
Secondly, the entertainment factor was one of the best parts for me. I am 15 years old, and went with parents and 2 other children under 18, and we were all kept entertained. There is a great miniclub for young children, and then around 3 or 4 activies a day for older children and adults. Some activities include Darts, Pool, Water Polo, Water Basketball, Beach Football, French Bowls, PingPong, Kids Cocktail Games, Air Rifle Shooting, Aqua Gym. All of the staff are so friendly, funny, and excellent at their job. Also, the evening entertainment is excellent too. At 9pm there is a Kids Disco, were young children can take part in dances and games. Winners, along with winners from day time activities recieive certificates and other awards. There is always a professional show such as a themed dance/singing night, a musical by the staff, parrot show, and/or games such as bingo and karaoke. At the end of the night, there is always a club dance, where anyone can join in and have a great laugh dancing to some grea songs. The bar is right next to the entertainment and waiters are frequently coming round to ask if you want any drinks.
If you would rather have a more laid-back, relaxing holiday, then the hotel is also for you. It is in a sort of bay, with lots of beautiful greenery, beaches and sea surrounding the area. The sun is always beaming down by the poolside and beach areas, so which ever you prefer, you will get a nice tan if you wish to sunbathe and relax.
There are other facilites aswell, such as a Gym, Pool tables, Game machines. The gym contains running machine, bike, rowing maching, weights, etc, althogh it is hard working out in the boiling hot weather so i dont really reccomend it.
There is a mixed view on the food generally, althouhg i am extremly pleased with it. There is alwyas a great mixture of meats, fish, vegetables, snack, fruit, desserts. At breakfast there is cereal or full english brekafast, which is delicious apart from the bacon isnt anything special, and mixtures of buns, croissonts, choclate pancakes, which are all delicious, The snack bar is excellnt, serving burgers, pizzas, pastas, chips, sandwiches etc, which are all delcious and on the all inclusive. The evening meal is also nice, with food such as beef, chicken, pork, various fish, chips, potatos, vegetables, paella, Pasta, Soup, Desserts - Various cake, fruit, ice cream. Some nights were more disappointing then others, but on the whole the food is very nice.
So overall, the staff are excellent, and funny , getting people to join in with their games and entertainent, the view and pools are brilliant, the facilities are always clean and in good working order, the food is delicious most of the time, the rooms are always very clean, spacious and have good air con, and bathrooms.
This is a perfect choice for families, or infact anyone. Great hotel.

Submitted By: Miss Anna UreFor me and my friends this holiday was important as it would be the last summer before we all left for uni and we were not disappointed. I have so many happy memories that i will remember forever. All i can say is that this holiday was fantastic and i cant wait to go back. This hotel was perfect for families and young people. I felt completely safe here and even in the evenings it was quiet so we could walk around and relax. It was the best holiday and I would definitely recommend it.

Submitted By: dominica harringtonWe had a fabulous room with 2 bedrooms, 1 for the children and 1 for us, the balcony was huge with fantastic views of the hiills, beach and pool. The food was altogether very good, the dinner being our favourate, a great grill bar each evening with fresh fish and meet cooked in front of you and of course all the other dishes available as well, wine by the bottle and named beer at dinner. You take lunch in either the snack bar by the pool or above at the other restaurant which serve much the same menu, but always hot and of good quality, kids loved the pizza and burgers, and also the salads were very good for a snack bar.
The cleanliness of the hotel is second to none as seems to be the norm with Sirenis hotels. The team doing the animation were great, Jenny, Tizi, Ramone, and Luigi but he departed whilst we were away. We all joined in loved the activities both my children age 7 and 10 can't wait to go back.
Overall, if you want to take your children for the perfect break, go to this hotel or the sister hotel next door the Dorada, they share all facilities, and are just like one hotel, you will not be dissappointed, but do not go here if you want a quiet break, go to the resort but stay in one of the apartments, or the Thomson hotel over the bay.
Well worht a visit.

Submitted By: Mrs S WalshCala Llonga is a wonderful bay and my suggestion would be, don't stay in the hotel more than you have to. If you like being squashed together like sardines on sunbeds, and having to queue for an unacceptable length of time for anything to eat or drink, wait for overcrowded lifts, and eat in a dining room where the next table can hear you breathe then this is the place for you.
We hired a car locally, drove to some wonderful beaches that are off the beaten track, enjoyed fabulous local cuisine and wine, and really found out what Ibiza is all about.
One last tip...May I suggest that if you have a late flight, try to book a room with a late check out time (21.30). Do this if you can at home, as trying to do it at the hotel, resulted in us lodging a formal complaint against a particularly rude member of staff. I have been to Ibiza several times, and will continue to go back there, but will NEVER to back to the Imperial in Cala Llonga.

Submitted By: Mrs A TallentireThe standard of the hotel was good if a little dated with all of the staff being helpful and friendly. There wasn't too much advice given when we first arrived but if you asked, the staff were well informed and had time to spend chatting to us and telling us the best places to go. The Up and In and Mister Cairo seemed to be the best places to go for entertainment once the hotel's entertainment had finished. The hotel put on some good shows including a parrot act, dancing, drag act etc - all of them good entertainment.
Top tips- the pool bar prices were expensive with a coke at 3Euros, so we went to the local supermarket and took them back, cheaper and cool too! When you arrive you are given a credit card type card to get your breakfast and dinner, we were never asked for ours so we put it in the slot for the electrics in the room and it worked the air conditioning beautifully, so that when we went back to the room it was lovely and cool.
All in all we had a lovely holiday and didn't spend half of the spending money we took!

Submitted By: Ms Ann WainwrightThe resort is kept very clean and the people take great pride in constantly picking up any litter and even cleaning the seaweed off the beach every morning.
The beach is fairly small but there always seems to be space for one more without cramping. Careful of the jellyfish though as they can have a bit of a sting.
The hotel itself is constantly being cleaned, I saw a maid at 2am cleaning the pool table outside! They just don't stop with the cleaning. The rooms are very small with most of them just having room for the beds and a small bathroom with shower above the bath, although the saving grace is that there is air conditioning.
The hotel also has a small laundry room for the use of guests on the second floor; it has two washers and a drier so that comes in really useful.
The hotel food is plentiful and nice but always warm and never hot which is a little off putting. The staff are always friendly and helpful and there is entertainment every night, some better than others. There are also organised activities such as the water polo for kids then adults, pool tournaments and football matches against other hotels, a kid’s hour in a morning and a disco for them at night. The pool is also watched by a lifeguard at all times.
The shops mainly sell the usual tourist junk although one does sell clothes; the doctor is clearly marked and is close at hand if needed, there are also a few supermarkets on hand for any English bits you missed from home.

Submitted By: Ms D StantonWe arrived on a Sunday morning about 11.00 and were delighted to see that the pool bar was open where we were able to get a bacon and cheese butty.
We were give a wrist band to wear and also a card a bit like a credit card, which we were supposed to use each time we had food or drink, we were never asked for it all the while we were there. We found it much useful to put in the electricity hole instead of the key, it works wonderful and gave us a nice cool room each afternoon.
The beach in Cala Longa is ideal for children and adults, although there were a lot of jelly fish in the sea, there is a nice little shopping centre and plenty of bars. Try the little train that takes you into St Elulia very cooling on a hot day.
The food was plentiful and snacks during the day were okay, the only downside, chips chips chips with everything, such a waste at times.
The rooms were small but very clean it would have been a good idea to have had a fridge in the room, but you could hire one if needed.
The only downside to this holiday was that if you are being picked up early in the morning, we were being picked up at 7.50am there is no breakfast, the restaurant opens at 8.00pm and they will not deviate on this resulting in very hungry travellers.
When we asked if it could be opened for toast and coffee we were told no, we don’t make the rules.
A very nice place for a week’s holiday, beware though I did not get a good night’s sleep all week, very noisy with people coming and going all hours of the night.

Submitted By: Mrs J HaseldineCala Llonga is a picturesque little resort. Fairly small but has a variety of bars and restaurants. The sandy beach is brilliant and the sea was really warm and safe for swimming, but be warned the sunbeds are a bit expensive, around 10 euros per day for 2 beds and umbrella. There are lots of scenic walks around the headland, and the ferry to Santa Eulalia, Ibiza Town and Formentera is just down the steps from the hotel. There's also an excellent bus service.
Unfortunately we were delayed leaving Manchester for about 1 hour, as there was a problem with the plane, so we didn't arrive at the hotel until 9.15 in the evening - too late for dinner. Dinner officially finishes at 9.30 but not much chance of anything to eat after 9.00 p.m. The food was very good, plenty variety in the restaurant for dinner. There were two poolside bars for lunch but not an extensive menu!
The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable but the views from the balcony aren't all good. We were on the top floor facing the hotel next door, but we could just see the beach. The rooms at the front of the hotel have wonderful views all over the bay.
The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful, however the waiters seemed to enforce the hotel's very strict All Inclusive drinks policy very enthusiastically. The friendliest waiters were in the lower bar by the side of the pool.
This hotel is advertised as "adult focused", but what they do not say is that the hotel is joined on to its sister hotel the "Dorada", which is extremely child friendly. In fact the hotel pools are side by side and shared by all guests, and the entertainment is in the upper poolside bar based in the Dorada. The sunbeds around the pool are very close together, and you need to be up very early to get a decent umbrella.
Our stay was during the World Cup. The matches were on the tv's in both the Imperial and the Dorada but not on the Sky channels. We found the best place for the football was the Bar Madison "Pepe's Bar".
We weren't impressed with the entertainment in the hotel, mainly because it was mainly for the children until around 10.30 p.m.
There is an excellent bar for entertainment just down the hill from the hotel "Mister Cairo's", brilliant atmosphere, we saw the drag act "Diamond Class" there, they were excellent.
They were also on in the hotel one night. The bar Athena is also worth a visit for all the concrete statues etc. Overall we had a lovely holiday, but if we went back I think we would probably go for an apartment, as there seemed to be some very good restaurants.

Submitted By: Mr Steve PunshonThis hotel is advertised as a 3* but should be upgraded to a 4*. The room was clean and we had maid service (including new towels and linen) everyday. All of the staff were friendly and were very grateful that we made the effort to actually talk to them about themselves etc. They all made a real fuss of our daughter.
The kids disco was good as was the daytime kids club and games round the pool.
Not too much of a problem with sunbeds we went down at 9.30 most mornings and got a pitch straight away. Beach is lovely and very safe for little ones.
The food was excellent and not at all repetitive, at lunch the better choice of food is from the upstairs restaurant and terrace, not the pool bar (although this was good too)
Pool Bar - Burgers, chips, salads, sandwiches, rolls, all day breakfasts.
Upstairs bar - all this plus steak, pork chops, chicken, pizza, hot rolls.
Special mention to Ivan and Alfonso in the pool bar - Ask Alfonso for a Special Sangria - Yum!
Also a big hello to Annette, John and Daryl who made our holiday special too.
We will definitely go back.

It was possible to upgrade to all-inclusive at 18 Euros per person per day, which is not too bad if you just want to stay at the hotel. There are plenty of bars/cafes all with friendly staff we particularly enjoyed Cafeteria Del Mar run by Fernando (try the Sangria), Bar Madison run by Pepe and the Med bar run by Steve (ex Sheffield) who had some excellent turns on for the evenings.
The beach is very well kept but watch out for the parasol and lounger man, we were initially charged for two loungers at 7 Euros per day, including parasol, but a few days later he wanted 10.5 Euros for the same combination.
The resort is fairly quiet but at the height of the season all the hotels have nightly entertainment. Everybody was very friendly, there was no trouble evident anywhere and with such a safe beach it is ideal for families with children up to teenage years.
We did find a superb restaurant, The Wild Asparagus, which is situated outside the village, 10-15 min walk but with steps and hills! Prices were not too bad but the service and atmosphere were superb.

Just a warning the hotel is up a quite a steep road this includes the Playa Dorada which is part of Imperial Complex
Advice: safe and family friendy
Activities: Just relaxing
