Just come back from another fantastic Holiday at the Imperial,
I could not fault the friendlyness and the service of all the Staff who worked so hard to make our holiday
so good.
It was nice to see all the familiar faces who still
worked there.

Fantastic Holiday
Before I booked our holiday at Club Playa I read some of the reviews on this website and took the risk anyway and Im glad we did. We stayed at this hotel for a week at the beginning of September 05 and first impression wasn't good due to the fact that I was influenced by the negative reports that I had previously read. We were first given a room that overlooked the restaurant roof and absolutely hated it. After requesting a room change I was told that they may be able to help me the following day so my partner and I carried on down to the pool without unpacking in the hope that we could be relocated on the same day, and sure enough after a few hours of sun bathing we checked again with reception to see if they could help, and we were given a room overlooking the tennis courts and the fountain (see pictures attached) and I can't thank them enough for this gesture. I think if we had stayed in the original room the holiday would have been totally different and not as enjoyable. The staff at this hotel are exceptional, they make you feel welcome and are always polite and happy to help. The food was fantastic, the pool area fantastic, service fantastic, entertainment fantastic. My partner and I usually spend that little bit more on our holidyas so we can enjoy the luxury of being away so Club Playa was a down scale holiday for us being a 3*, so things such as decor in the rooms was very basic as well as no air conditioning it must have been a nightmare for people visiting in high season but these are the only faults I can say about this hotel. I would definately visit again for a weeks break later on in the year. Thank you to Neil our entetainment for the week, for being so a lovely and hospitable he had a huge influence in us enjoying our time in Ibiza and anybody who has visited this resort will understand what I am talking about. The people who have complained about this hotel in such a negative way need to understand that if you are paying such a cheap price for a 3* All inclusive you aren't going to be gettin luxury!
Loved latest holiday
I would recommend the Sirenis Club Playa to anyone who wants a holiday in a lovely little resort. When I visited the hotel again back in August it was as good as always, there seems to be everything for everyone. Neil the Entertainment Rep was as enthusiastic as he was last year, keeping everyone laughing. As usual the staff were very pleasant always smiling and happy looking. My young teenage step-daughter particularly enjoyed the waiters' dance on the stage at the end of each night. The food was at its usual best and everyone seemed happy, guests and staff alike. My husband and I will visit this same hotel in October and my step-children are desperate for us to book back up for 2006. A Trip Adviser reader, Summerston, Glasgow
The best hotel and holiday ever!
i have stayed in this hotel twice . Last year in July and this year in August. And both times i was loving it!! Neil is a fabbi entertainer he is so funny! he is just amazing all together! The staff are great too! very friendly the barstaff are amazing the way that they join in with everything and even go up and dance on stage! The resort is fabbi too theres a funfair, shops, the beach just out side the hotel near enough! and theres the one and only mister cairos just around the corner! mister cairos is like a karaoke bar and you dance to. . .i used to go there every night its amazing!
Totally AWESOME
Absolutely lovely hotel, with a beautiful view. The staff are absolutely lovely, all so friendly and helpful. The entertainment staff were fantastic. Loads of fun for adults and children. The facilities were easily accessible for everyone. Great value for money. Cant wait another year to go back!!
Great Holiday
Just returned from the Club Playa, where all the family had a great time. The rooms are a bit dated and need refurbishing, but were cleaned every day but tuesdays. There was something going on all day for kids and adults. Night entertainment was good too all down to Neil (top bloke) and Livia. Beach was beautiful but the resort was fairly small. Will definately be going back. The restaurant and bar staff were always friendly and would join in activities. Chris on the side of the pool dancing and the waiters song on a night NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!!!!
Worst holiday ever!!!
This really was the worst holiday ever.We arrived at midnight after dropping others off at other hotels which had all looked really welcoming, the club playa entrance looks as though you are arriving by the back door. We couldnt even get a glass of water the staff just shrugged their shoulders. The hotel is very clean but very dated. The rooms did not have any air conditioning and the heat was stifling, there is a ceiling fan but this was no use at all, luckily i had packed a fan which helped a little. Due to lack of space in the room for clothes we had to live out of our suitcases. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful but in the pool bar where all the entertainment is ( if you can call it entertainment) unless you were a young girl of about 15 the staff were sullen and quite rude at times. The food was awful except for breakfast which was very good and the drinks were definately watered down and always served in plastic glasses. We went on holiday to relax and were woken every morning at 6.30am by holiday makers dragging the sun loungers to reserve their place by the pool. We told the reps we were not very happy but they didnt seem bothered and said well you cant please everyone. We eventually decided to hire a car for our two week stay and eat out every night which cost a fortune as we had booked all inclusive. Call llonga is a beautiful resort but our stay at this hotel spoilt our holiday which we had looked forward to with our 15 year old son. The places we recommend if you find it the same as us is Flippers restaurant in cala llonga and also we used to go up to Mister Cairos which is excellent. It has nightly entertainment and really friendly staff and you can also get a proper drink there. My son used to stay there till the early hours of the morning and had a great time! We definately wont be going back!!!
Great Holiday
I visited club Playa in July of this year, it was a fantastic holiday. All the staff were exetremly friendly and went out of their way to make every one feel welcome and have a fab time. I am 17 years old and I went with my boyfriend, we met loads of friends all aged between 14-19 and we even enjoyed the mini disco. The few things I would say to any young people is that the resort its self is very quiet, the night life is very limited. However we did find a bar which was very good, a few minutes away from the hotel called- MISTER CAIROS. We went there most nights after the entertainment in the hotel. The Entertainrers, Neil & Olivia were fab. If you are going to this hotel I would advise you to take fans as there is no air-con & the fan's on the roof in the rooms are pretty useless. The food is good, there is also a snack bar. The drinks were good however they were served in plastic cups which got abit annoying after 2 week's. On the 4th floor of the hotel there is a chill out room where there is a t.v, you get PROPER glasses up their! Great hotel all round.
Exactly as advertised in the brochure
My friend and I went here over half term. The hotel itself was fine, nothing special and a bit dated. The food was very good, service excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly - could not fault. I probably wouldn't do all inclusive again as there are plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy in this small resort. We avoided all evening entertainment but it appeared very popular (a bit like Butlins); full of families and cigarette smoke. We chose to go out every night. The pool area wasn't anything special so we spent the whole week on the beach. The bay and beach are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our break. We would definitely go back to Cala Llonga but would probably go self-catering in the appartments on the opposite side of the bay.
fantastic
I went to club player first time in 2002, I loved it so much I decided to go back again & again, I was there last aug 2004 I loved it this time 2 rather than goin back with just my daughter I took my mother & she loved it, im now goin back aug this yr 05 & I really can not wait, as others have said the food was very nice, the bar staff were brilliant without doubt they were nicest people i'v ever met & always awiling to join in. I remember I took part in one of the games on stage I did not no what I had to do but I new I had to grab n e man out of the audience I thought it would be funny to grab one of the bar staff & I went over & asked javi he agreed I neally died when I found out what I ad to do, not gona say wat it was cause it was well embarrising, but lets just say there were balloons a glass of lager and a skipping rope but it was good fun & I will go next yr & the next and so on i can honestly say that if u go to this hotel it will be an experience of a life time and u will make some good friends. hope all bar staff r doing well and hope javi is back this year cause he was such a good laugh & a real good pal sarah xxx
Great!!!!! if you love Elvis!!
this hotel is great for ACTIVITY loving FAMILIES also people who love elvis, which seems to be the WAKE up call. a constant by the poolside, it was hard too relax combined with the shouts from the reps to join in the activities such as waterpolo and volley ball these are fun activities but limits access to the pool when these are in progress. it was very hot and the hotel had no air conditoning only ceiling fans, which were noisy and resembled the sound of a low flying helicopter!!and needed to be left on 24/7, im pleased we weren't paying the electricity bill!! The Cinema is actually a 24inch TV inside a glass cabinet which is located on the third floor at the back of the lounge whcih had a SMALL bar however this is the only place with air conditioning and GLASS which you will start to think didn't exist by the end of a two week stay, as every other drink is served in plastic glassses. The lifegaurd does not start work until 10am therefore you can not swim before this time according to the hotel rules, which you will find alot of posted around the hotel; no need for paintings and decs as the wall space is covered with rules!!! which reminds me...there is a cake cabinet which is pad locked for 23hrs of the day until 3pm, if you are not there for that time you will think that there is never anything in the cabinet!! Any way back to the pool... the sunlonungers are stacked up at the end of the night so the pool area is free to sit at as remember there is no air conditioning so any breeze is appreciated but the next day you are awoken by many people competing for a bed and a space by the pool: i came on holiday to relax not be woken up at 7 am every day!!!!! as for the food there were hitty missy days, some days the food was absolutely georgeous, then the next day there was colifllower cheese for breakfast!!
