Just returned from a weeks hols in tenerife and had a really enjoyable time, spent most of it by the pool at Alondras which although a bit cold ( It is April/May tho) was nice to cool off in after sunbathing. Had good food and drinks from the pool bar, at reasonable prices. Most evenings we spent locally but did venture out to Las Americas one night. Had meals out most nights but must recommend Central bar and Harvesters our faves by far.
The apartment we had was very large and and airy, the furniture has seen better days but we only used the apartment for showering and sleeping..

one word dirty apartment. no entertainment in that area. good for pensioners who want quite.

we booked through A1 Travel.com. we went with 2six years old kids for self cattering. there is no lock for the varanda door no handle for the bed room doors, all the electric plughs are broken. shower curtin filthy whole hotel is full of dirty. we stayed one night then run away. we found another hotel to stay paid by our own. cost us fotune.

Just come back and could not wait to get out of Alondras Park. The description and photots looked great on the website but what a shock on arrival! The whole place is run down - the guy was actually repairing the pool area i.e. smashing concrete etc whilt we were 'relaxing' on the cheap sunbeds. The apartments are very basic - we had rusty fridge with broken handle, cracked toilet, broken dirty tiles, cheap basic bed with torn linen. There is no restaurant on site just a cafe, no microwave and no free bus to the beach, as advertised. The staff on reception were unhelpful. Our neighbours held a party until 3 in the morning and the rest of the time just shouted at each other constantly.....The place is surrounded by greasy spoon restaurants.

Went to alondras park in march this year, was apprehensive after reading other reviews, had a great holiday will defo be back cheap and cheerful.
Friendly staff and close to the main resorts of Los Christianos and Las Americas(by bus only €1.30) Brilliant weather spent most days by the pool, 3 in total. The pool bar was open and served tasty snacks and cold drinks at reasonable prices, the main restaurant was closed but didn't matter as numerous restaurants within a 2 min walk.
The bars are friendly and cheap, even got a pint of lager for 50c during the happy hour (9.30pm till midnight) other bars the price varies from €1 to €2 for a pint so all very reasonable.
lovely views of tiede from our balcony and overlooked the pool so we could watch the children playing in the pool.

well i was plesently suprised,really enjoyed my stay here.The staff was very helpful,yes it has alot of resedental occupants but it was ok,very easy to get about with the bus service,Shambhu was very nice and made us very welcome at the apartments,will defferntly go back again.It is very basic but very clean and tidy.

I have stayed at Allondras park twice in the last year....i usually book direct by phone call and i save a fortune...The apartments are very spacious basic and clean with a balcony.... ideal to chill out with a Cold Dorado beer. I only have one concern and that is usually on a Tuesday night the flights arrive...and it can be very loud for that night...but usually the spanish police park their car in the courtyard on the wednesday...and the noise magically dissapears from there onward...As for food...the best food i have ever tasted is in and around costa del silencio...and no wonder! considering the amazing fish market down at the marina in las galletas..Of course you can expect burgers and chips ...but you get that anywhere these days..and at least none of the restaraunts here have a giant M above the door...Go with an open mind...ask the staff at Allondras for a good restaraunt...theres one just around the corner from the supermarket...and i can recommend it personally.....The main purpose of my holiday is to relax and scuba dive..and i have dived off of silencio with Barracuda..green turtles and manta rays in some of the clearest diving waters in the world....'Atlantic Divers' next door to Allondras are great and around 20% cheaper for courses than the uk...ask Geoff for try adive....i promise you that you wont be dissapointed...im going back later in the year and hopefully next year it will form a base camp for my preparation to do the Lanzorote Ironman...i love this place...its safe and friendly with spanish families forming the main residents at Allondras....i cant wait to go back...I phone Ima OR Eva when booking and im always well looked after there...if you want 5 stars go to the hilton hawaii...if you want a friendly.. basic living holiday then go here you wont be dissapointed...

do not go to allondras park apartments, theres nothing round about them, everything shut down and delapitated, there dirty, no where to eat good food unless you like greasy foods, and the apartment next door got broken into and got everything stole jewellery, passports, money, laptops, mobile phones etc it was a disgrace, the staff arent helpful, and it cost me £250 to come early from this holiday because of rynair also. total disaster. weather was rubbish also, and boring place to go......

Just got back from Alondras park thankfully.Where do i start arrived at our apartment at midnight switched the lights on only 3 of the 5 lights worked to find a big pool of water where the roof had leaked(yes it was raining when we got there) in the center of our living room luckily we had packed our swimming gear.Looking around the apartment all furniture was broke or had a dodgy repair, no TV present,fridge door hanging off,if you tried to cook on the two hot plates the whole apartments electrics fused,the card entry system worked now and again had to go and change card 5 times during a weeks stay,the whole complex is noisy late at night and early morning as the spannish also live there dogs barking kids running riot grown ups shouting across to each other especially around the pool area.I love Tenerife but will not be going back as most of the resorts were overcharging some as much as 120euros a night to stay due to the flight situation while we were there.Silencio is a nice place local bars and cafes are friendly.Not that much to do at night we ended up getting on the bus most days going somewhere else.Food and drink much cheaper in all other resorts.Go to Aldondras park at your peril much better to spend a couple more euros and stay somewhere else.

The perfect place for families that want good, simple and quiet. I was looking for a family holiday that didnt have the hustle and bustle of normal holiday destinations but still provided things to do and easy travelling for a party of 3 adults and 4 children (aged 7 - 12). I had read some reviews on this place and to be honest was a bit concerned but on arrival I couldnt be more surprised. The welcome was excellent and the apartments were clean, spacious and perfect for our group. The pools were cleaned everyday, the rooms were cleaned every other day and the assistamce from the staff was excellent. There is a restaraunt on site run by a welsh couple who serve great food both English and Continental and the bar is inviting and child friendly. At the pool side there is another bar which is open during the pool hours where you can get food and drinks during the day, run by an English couple ( Julie & Simon) who will more than look after you, they will make packed lunches for days out and flights and cater to just about anything you need. The other bonus is that travelling to the busy places is easy and cheap on the local bus service. If you are looking for a family friendly place to visit I would highly recommend Alondras Park.
