Would go again
My friend and i went for a 4-night break in April 09. The apartments are in a great location, not far from the beach, lots of bars and restaurants, and a big super market down the road. The pool area is ok. It has sun beds that you can use any time of day. It seems people here don’t feel the need to put towels on them in the morning, which is a good thing. The rooms are a bit tired looking but nothing to complain about. We had a studio and it was quite big for studio standards. I will be going back to these apartments.
Last minute pick
At the last minute we needed to change hotels, and not many had rooms on the day we got to tenerife! We booked with Tinerfe Garden by directly calling them, and the price was approx 45 Euros a night which seemed reasonable! The room was quite big, with a sofa, coffee table, 2 single beds, corner cabinet and kitchenette with oven, hob, kettle. Basically enough to do a bit of cooking. They also had some crockery and pots and pans! To be honest, the bathroom and kitchen hadnt been cleaned to a high standard. The towels were worn thin, and when i went to bed, there was a hole in the bed sheet! If you can put up with little things like this tho, its still an ok place to stay! The hotel had a pool with several sunbeds and a pool bar, aswell as a seperate bar for the evening. The staff were generally quite nice, but not that talkative! The location was good. It was about a 10/15 minute drive from Sofia Reina Airport wich cost us about 20 Euros. The hotel is situated on a long street hosting several cafes and a small shopping centre on the corner. The beach is about a 6-7 minute walk, and the walk itself it quite nice, passing all the local restaurants and stuff. On the whole, it was an ok experience. I'd go again probably this time with a group of friends. Going as a couple however i'd aim for something a bit more upmarket!
