well i weren't impressed , first night there we had like 10 cockroaches me and my friends had to sleep in 1 room all together so my mate and her daughter slept in one bed and me and my mum slept in another i thought it was very disgusting we where sweating the whole night , finally after 3 days we got moved , but the first night we got in that room we saw another cockroach and a few insects , the pools freezing cold , which you would expect they were the only problems.

My husband and I spent ten days at Tinerfe Gardens in May/June. Was a little worried when reading earlier reviews, but believe me, nothing to worry about here. Apartment was fine, although at first seemed rather tired and dark. Soon get used to it and when you pull curtains apart and let the sun in absolutely no problem. Large patio with table, chairs and three sunbeds. No problems with insects or cockroaches. Saw nothing like that the whole time. Nice quiet pool area with plenty of sunbeds. Great location just a few minutes from beach and shops. Great supermarket with good prices in the shopping centre just to the left of the apartments. I consider myself quite fussy about where I stay and I found this to be OK for the price paid. Not luxurious but didn't expect luxury on this budget. Would have no problem booking again for Tinerfe Gardens.

Brilliant holiday... As soon as we got to the airport we got a taxi straight away no waiting about it took about 15 to 20 minutes to get to Tenerfe Gardens and cost about 20 euros which between 3 of us was cheap. All the staff were very friendly also the people who was on holiday, especially the Londoners. A walk to the beach took about 20 minutes on the beach front there are lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. The apartment is very close too about 3 supermarkets not even a 5 minute walk. The pool bar was very clean and did very good food. Over all we are very pleased with where we stayed it turned out better than what we expected!...

A big thank you to Gloria who runs the pool bar.
Try the Irish Bar for abit of Egg & Chips.....lovely. But there are lots of nice places to eat.

4 adults and 2 children stayed here 4 3 weeks. We picked it as it was cheap and were quite pleased. No cockroches which was very important to us. The rooms were spacious and the fridge immacutate. Lots of towels and toilet rolls supplied, sheets once a week. We got room 75 which had a large garden and sun from 11.30 till late and a pool view. (Great room in that respect.) The local supermarket was very cheap, cheaper than Dublin, and we were able to bring the trolly up (a bit hilly) to our room. The Aqua park was a walk around the corner (10 mins). We found an indoor playcenter 4 the kids (miki park) 5 Euros in a taxi (15 mins long walk 4 kids). We went out on a catermerange great boat trip. (24 euros adult). In January you need some winter clothes, ie long trousers and jumpers. P.s. Reception was very good when we asked for anything. Nice food was hard to find anywhere, if you like meat veg and patatoes, so fill your belly before you leave home. Down the road the scots bar had a good breakfast and the nightclub accross the road was fun. We got a bono bus ticket at the airport and it was only 8 euros to get their by Bus No 488. Ask to be droped off at the San Euginio Shopping Center. Enjoy enjoy.

My husband (37yrs)and I (43yrs) visit Costa Adeje every November with a large group of friends. November 2008 we stayed at the Tinerfe, we werent too disapointed because it was the cheapest accomodation we could find and all we needed was a good clean base in a good location. This is what we got.
It is situated 5 mins from the beach, 2 mins from supermarkets and bars. Bang across the road is O'reillys that stays open till late. The entertainment is very good, bands etc.
The apartments for want of a better way of describing them are like rows of bungalows. They have all the ameneties you will need, cooker, fridge, kettle etc. They are clean but the decor is a bit dated and tired. You have a huge private terrace, full sun. The only thing is no view only the bungalow behind you.
The pool is small and clean and there is a small snack bar where you can purchase basic decent snacks, toasties, chips etc. On the plus side the evening bar which is situated below the pool is very nice and the english barman is very friendly.
If your looking for a thrilling family resort, Tinerfe is not for you but as a clean well located base its brilliant and well worth the money.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 1 week over new year 06/07, we know the area well as my Mum lives just across the road. Over the years we have visited the area many times (7 or 8) and for the price this is the best value you can get. Ok as has been said a few times here it is basic but what do you want for the price? The Ritz?????
We paid £150 for 1 week and were very happy with the accomadation it was spacious clean and the huge terrrace was a real suntrap (great for nursing a hangover). The pool bar was clean and well priced and the staff were very friendly and helpfull.
I read a review on this page where the auther only gave 1 out of 10, left and stayed at the Club Atlantis. Well im sorry to say ive seen the Club Atlantis and although it it nice there is no way i could justify the extra cost as the Tinerfe Gardens is just as good and much much better value.
And the final word..... we have just booked to stay here again in sept 08 need i say more?

We just got back from here & we had a brilliant time, i have to children aged 2 & 7, we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was more than big enough with a large terrace to sit out on, the pool has just been refurbished & it's brilliant. the apartments are well equipped & are cleaned every other day. The location is amazing it's min's from the bars & restaurants but you dont get loads of noise at night. The irish rover is the closest & it's only 1.50 a pint & the kids meals are great only 3.00. there are at least 3 supermarkets within a 5 min walk & it's a lovely stroll down to the beach. all in all these apartments are cheap, basic but clean and usable.
