Apartments Pez Azul

I have just come back from a weeks stay in 'The Pez Azul Apartments' in Puert de la Cruz.
I found the self catering apartment, quite comfortable really.
The room was a fair size, but then it was only me occupying it. It was reasonably clean, and the cleaners came in most days. My room was overlooking Mount Teide, which was a bonus, because the view every morning was spectacular.
The staff were really friendly, and above all... very helpful, especially the nice receptionist, who helped me out endlessly with various requests.
The rooms do have televisions, which you have to pay a fee to watch.
The only downfall for me was, that when I requested to pay for a weeks TV, I was told that the only English channels I could watch would be CNN, and one other. For this I would of have to pay 24 euros, which I think, is a bit of a rip off. I also think that all self catering apartments should have TV's included in the price of the stay, and that more than two english talking channels should be available, at any one time.
So it was left down to the mobile phone games to keep me occupied... You can only play so much Tetris,
Anyway the surrounding areas of the town, were lovely... green and lush... as were the lovely tanned men out there.
The beach was lovely, and the black lava sand, was something else.
I don't think there was much night life, and the visitors mainly seem to be on the older side, but who cares. I had a wonderful time in Puerto del la Cruz.
Would definately go there again.
