The Andorra Apartments were exactly as described. They are basic apartments. The apartments are cleaned everyday and the towels were changed whenever they needed replacing.
The have two small but clean pools and an abundance of sunbeds to go around.
The staff were friendly and approachable, always ready to answer any questions you may have.
Within easy reach of the nightlife, 2 mins walk to the strip, 5 mins walk to the patch and about 15 mins away from Veronicas.
Los Cristianos is also within easy walking distance.
Should you like shopping, there are several large shopping arcades within 5 mins.
The beach is also within easy walking distance from the apartments.

just back from andorra apartments and really enjoyed this hotel. The staff werte very pleasant and very helpful apartments were a great size with everything supplied except kettle and toaster,a bit of a problem if you are going self catering, television was 3euro a day if you wanted extra channels otherwise only has cnn channel. We went on a half board basis ,the food was pretty good most nights but would not recommend half board if you are taking children with you.pool area quite adequate and cleaned every morning, maids came in everyday and towels changed every day.I would recommend if you are booking there is two sides to this hotel one side is only 2 star other side 3 star which has air con which is needed in peak season.Location could not be better only several minutes away and entertainment very good albeit a little bit expensive for drinks.

We stayed at the Andorra Apartments in July 2009 after booking it all independantly (Flights, Transfers and Accomodation) and what a smooth ride it was. The Andorra Hotel is a fantasitc 3* hotel where the staff are very very friendly along with residents who live there full time. The Andorra is split in to parts, a hotel and also self catering apartments to which we stayed.
On arrival into the Andorra the receptionist was very helpful and sorted out or little issue with the keys by ringing the owner and with 10 minutes our keys where there (this was a slight complication as the cleaner didnt hand the key back into the reception). i didnt see this as a massive problem so i had a beer at the bar.
The Aprtment we stayed in was on the ground floor and hadeverything we could ask for, infact it was home from home just about, we had full set of clean sode towels each, Kettle, Oven, Toaster, Microwave, Tall standing fridge freezer, all pots and pans, full selection of plates, knifes, forks etc along with all the cooking utensils you need. we also had cleaning materials (after all we were self catering). the Apartment on arrival was very very clean including the bedroom, bathroom and lounge along with the external patio area.
We were also blessed with the contact details of the owner should we have any problems during our stay (mobile and land line) which is a little re-assuring when you've booked it seperate.
On the day of our departure after our 2 weeks stay we asked if any one was coming in to the apartment after us as we had to be our at 10am but didnt fly til late night and the owner (Jim) had not issues with us keeping the apartment on for a few hours so we could benifet from a shower and security of our luggage prior to us leaving and this was given to us at no additional cost. However the Andorra hotel has a locked luggae room which you can also use should people not be as gifted as we were.
The andorra also has 2 large swimming pools both with shallow ends and deep ends to suit all swim types of people (kids etc) and there is also a baby pool. the pools were cleaned on a daily basis buy the caretaker and as were the aras around the pools buy the traditional mop and bucket.
Overall value for money = Excellent as we booked independantly so found the cheapest / best flights as accomodation is more important to me rather then the flight.
The Andorra location is prime, set between los cristianos and las americas, not too close to veronicas nightlife.
We also ate in the restaurant at the hotel where the food was lovely
Tenerife has a lot to do and it was my first visit there and i would have no hesitations in going back especially self catering as there is a lot of choice and variety to do.
The people in Tenerife (natives) were really helpful and polite.
Tenerife is slightly on the expensive front for food and drink but this was expected due to the poor euro rate at the minute however this didnt put us off.
Overall the Andorra Apartments and Hotel is a very very clean place where you can tell that all the people who work there take pride in what they do and aim to please.
Thank you.
This review is 100% legit and i have no issue with people contacting me to share my views.

The only good thing about this this hotel is its location and clean rooms. Reception staff were very rude. On our arrival the receptionist actually walked away from the desk. Even returning from a night out you barely received a greeting from them. The pool area closes at 7pm. The pool attendant actually claps his hands to get you to vacate the pool area at 7pm sharp. The TINY pool bar closes anywhere between 5pm and 6pm depending on the mood of staff. There is no atmosphere at all around the pool area and it seemed to be swarmed with locals. Also there is no hotel bar so you miss out on being able to relax and have few before or after a night out. Can't even imagine families wanting to stay here as there is nothing for children. If it is cheap and very very basic you are after then this is the place. On the other hand the Vulcano Hotel is next door to this hotel so you can always try use their pool area in the day and lovely bar at night!

We stayed here last year and was impressed with location and cleanliness of apartments. Maids visit every day clean towels every day. There are 2 good sized pools which are clean. It has been quite and relaxing both times we have stayed there, very good value for money, would definately go back a third time.

I must respond to the submission made by Mrs P Marshal.
I am the person she spoke about and am only the caretaker for this apartment. This apartment is good value for money and isnt and never has been dirty. Many holiday makers have stayed there and and have been completly satisfied. We charged Mrs Marshal 1050 pounds for 6 weeks. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned for an arrival and bed linen and towels are changed every week.
Mrs Marshal booked her holiday with a company who went bankrupt, and we had not been paid, when she arrived for her holiday.I had no option but to collect it from her.
Since the holiday she has claimed the money back from Barclaycard and as the money had been passed over I must now stand the loss.Duing her stay I thought we got on ok.I supplied her with DVDs and a player for free because she wasnt happy with the TV programmes.I went out of my way to help her because of what had happened and I have never been slandered like that by anyone before. She has gone out of her way to blacken everything, simply to get her money back, but the fact is that her tour operator was soley responsible for her plight.I suggest if she wants luxury in future she pays a little more than 1050 pounds for 6 weeks holiday in Tenerife.
As a warning to others, this apartment was left in a disgusting state.

This apartment is disgusting it needs up dating and a dam good cleaning.
This is what happen to me and my husband, we had booked this 6 week Holiday with Breakabroad (multideanLTD) paid are money which was £1170.00, we arrived there on the 8/01/2008, on the Sunday night at 8-30 along comes Jim, from property management who demands that we pay him £1050.00 in cash or we'll have to get out there and then. So not knowing what to do we got our Daughter-in-law to pay this for us she asked Jim for his credit facilities of which he didn't have any, so he had to go through Direct Connections. He only comes to the apartment once a week to clean but all he dose is change the bed and leave clean towels. So if you are going to this apartment been warned, he comes across as someone nice but he is not.
There is black bits all round the toilet and the bathroom is in need of a much needed up date.I have been going to Tenerife for 20 years and this is the worst apartment i have been in, there is no descent furniture to sit on the TV is out of the ark, it was what you would have in a kids room for them to watch in bed .

We normally stay in the Club Atlantis but took this on a late deal and were not disappointed.
Only myself and wife went. Accommodation was basic but was clean and the maids came in every day. Hotel was very quiet and not a lot of noise - totally relaxed.
Disappointed with TV only two English satellite channels. Pools where always cleaned and enough space for every one but may be a bit crowded in peak season water was very cold.
Staff where very friendly and help full, could do with a bit more snacks etc during the day, ice creams had to be brought from a machine.
Close to local bars and seen some good entertainment and restaurants.
Although basic, had a very good holiday for a late deal - would return.

Heading back to the Andorra Apartments next week. Was there four years ago and loved it so much there had to go back. Hotel is in a good location in the quiet part of Playa de Las Americas but close to all it has to offer too.
Veronicas is good but wouldn’t go there every night. Nice restaurants close to the apartments along the beach front.
Hotel very good, comfortable beds and nice pool. Can wait to go back and would definitely recommend it.

My partner and I have just come back from a week at the Andorra Apartments where we had a relaxing and mostly stress free holiday.
We stayed in a 1 bed apartment, no. 306 which was west facing (good if you don't want the roasting sun first thing in the morning) and had a view to the mountains as well as the sea. Although dated, the apartment was very clean and kept to a good standard with a working fridge and hob. The beds aren't brilliant but they are comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep. The apartment also overlooked a busy walkway down to the beach as well as the main shopping street and bars which was quiet most of the day until late at night when people were coming home from a night out but wasn't too troublesome.
The hotel itself is far enough away from the action to have a relaxing stay and at the same time just a very short walk to a cheap supermarket, shopping, bars, restaurants and the beaches.
IMPORTANT: during our last couple of days there (a monday night), a handful of apartments were robbed in the same block on a variety of floors. Luckily we weren't one of them but it definitely left me feeling more than uneasy that someone could wander around the complex unchallenged. They had no problem breaking in/opening the main doors and even a safe was opening without force and a large sum of money was stolen so make sure you double lock your doors and don't put all of your money/expensive belongings in one place!
