Las Madrigueras Hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our luxury break at Las Madrigueras.
The hotel was elegantly furnished throughout and the spacious rooms were exactly as they appeared in the brochure. The balcony had a view over the golf course and down to the resort, and comfortable armchairs - perfect for a relaxing drink at the end of the day.
For breakfast there was a large (fresh) buffet selection as well as hot dishes cooked on request.
The poolside, grounds and spa facilities were immaculate. As many of the guests were golfers, we often had the hotel to ourselves during the day.
Being just outside Playa de las Americas, it was a fair walk to the centre. The five-minute taxi journeys were very cheap, however, and could be booked at reception. The location provided a tranquil retreat after the hustle and bustle of the resort.
The staff were, without exception, friendly and helpful. The manager even visited us at breakfast to see how we were enjoying our stay.
I would recommend Las Madrigueras any day over the 'luxury' hotels in the centre, which looked dated in comparison. It is, in my opinion, the best hotel in South Tenerife.
