" not bad, not bad at all "

myself my firlfriend and son stayed here in august, and had an enjoyable stay. no dogs barking and never had any trouble with the security, as other ppl have said...food wasnt great at snack bar and was dear, but we ate in the local restauraunts anyway..lovely food..recomend the tenerife sur hotel, for lovely grub, also a lovely karaoke bar just past spar on the left...all in all a very enjoyable stay...one more thing, the reception staff were very ignorant and rude, other than that, THUMBS UP.....

" Lovely quaint apartments "

My family and I stayed her just last week. The apartments are spacious with the largest balcony we have had. The pool is sufficient for the size of the complex with a little shop and restaurant right beside it. It is a lovely location for a nice family holiday with plenty do to just a 5-10 minute walk away. Although there was sometimes security there was often teens in the pool at night into the early hours playing around and I guess if our room had been much closer it would have bothered us but they were just having innocent fun and enjoying their own holiday and doing no harm.
If you have a buggy there are quite a few steps up to the entrance/exit with no ramp access but generaly a really good place to stay.

Advice: Plenty of nice shops/bars.

Activities: Raffles bar - great Karoake LOL.

" holidays "

The apartments were, although dated and in need of an update, very spacious and clean (the maid was in every day to either change the bins, clean sheets/towels or to clean the full apartment). They were equiped with everything needed for a holidays. The pool area was also very clean and used by a majority of residents, as there are many spanish people live in the apartments. There was a small minimarket and bar which served food and snacks too. The one drawback from the minimarket was the price as it was much more expensive than normal shops, however ther was a spar just a short walk away and a few other shops close by. The local area was very nice with a variety of shops and retaurants close by and many many more in the town centre, along the sea front and further along into las americas. Also many bars close by, and some designer shops just in las americas, so take a credit card. If you want the party scene a five minute taxi ride to veronicas you will fing many clubs. Many other activities to pass the time, lots of beach things, great water parks (go to siam park if you go), and many great excurtions. Cannot fault the apartments or los cristianos, had a great holiday, would go back tomorrow!!

Advice: Nice area with a huge variety of bars, restaraunts and shops, not party place, but close to one

Activities: Go to siam park!!! great italian place cnt remember name, but find spar go straight to end of those

" Alisios Break "

Having spent a fantastic week at Los Alisios I decided to write and tell other prospective guests about our stay there.
The apartments are quite large and cleaned regularly but we didn’t spend that much time in them anyway as there was so much to do in the local area. There are many bars and restaurants to visit and many have entertainment on in the evenings also. We also decided to take a couple of tours in that were advertised in reception at the hotel which filled the days and we also spent the occasional evening by the pool drinking at the pool bar they have at the hotel.
The pool area at the hotel is quite large so even on the days that we spent by the side of the pool we didn’t feel claustrophobic at all and because of it’s position the pool actually gets sun almost all of the day, even in winter.
The staff were friendly and most spoke English which makes your stay a lot easier and they also helped with their exceptional knowledge of the island and the places to visit. Los Alisios is definitely worth another visit.

Advice: Many bars and restaurants nearby

Activities: Restaurant of Hotel Andrea

" Enjoyable Stay "

I found the los alisios very clean and the staff very helpful. The pool was quite good which was handy coz we used that quite a lot. Most of the staff were helpful but some need better English and the pool cleaners definately need to learn their manners especially wen they chuck you out the pool when there is no specified closing time for the pool, overall apart from that the stay was very enjoyable.

Advice: Nice Italian Restraunts

Activities: Starstrucks

" Alisios Winter Break "

We booked our holiday through the web quite some time ago as we’ve stayed here before and know the area. Very handy for nights out as there are many bars and restaurants close by and on Sunday the local market is just at the bottom of the hill so we spent most of Sunday there.
We took in a couple of excursions but not Siam Park (I wasn’t feeling brave enough) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The rooms here are cleaned regularly and there’s a café right by the side of the pool which was fantastic for little snacks etc for those days we wanted to laze by the pool and soak up some sun.
The staff were great and most speak English as-well but we did enjoy practicing what little Spanish we know with them.
In short, I’d happily recommend Alisios to any travellers looking for a relaxing getaway and it would be ideal for families too as there’s lots to do in the local area and the main centre of Cristianos is only a short walk away.

Advice: Easy access to all the local bars and eateries.

Activities: The Sunday market

" Delicious Alisios "

Just come back from a lovely stay at Los Alisios. We have stayed here before so know that there are lots of bars and cafes nearby but this time we had our son with us so needed to be close to the beach also and have somewhere with a pool and entertainment for children.
The staff at the hotel are excellent, the rooms kept clean and we had no issues with language as most of them spoke English or understood what you were looking for and were very helpful.
Jake spent most of his time in the pool (much to our relief) and also decided he was going to eat the snack bar out of stock but this made life so much easier for us and the walk to the beach was only 15 minutes.
The local area is littered with bars and cafes and many have family entertainment on for the evenings with an excellent selection of food and drinks. We also spent a bit of time travelling around and visited Fañabe, El Teide and the newest attraction: Siam Park (fantastic).
I’d happily recommend this for anyone looking for an inexpensive getaway.

" Sun at Alisios "

I’ve stayed in Tenerife before but usually closer to Las Americas. This was a pleasant surprise as it was situated a short walk from the beach with lots of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants on the way. We were certainly spoiled for choice. The staff were all very helpful and mostly spoke English which makes life a lot easier and the rooms were kept very tidy with fresh towels daily. Although the hotel was quite full when we were there the pool was always available with beds galore so there was no need to put out a towel. For the evening there were plenty of restaurants to choose from and bars to spend the night with many having live entertainment.

Advice: Very close to all the beaches with plenty of nightlife.

Activities: We spent most of our time on the various beaches available.

" Los Alisios "

Stayed here following a recommendation from a friend and was quite surprised. It is a fair way from the beach but it's all downhill so that didn't worry us too much.
They have a shop and cafe bar on site so that made the first couple of days easier and after that we wandered around the local area and discovered quite a few local bars that were fantastic.
The staff were very helpful and most speak English. The rooms were cleaned daily which was nice as we went through a lot of towels round the pool area.

Advice: The Market is definately wortha trip.

Activities: We ate mostly in the hotel but there are some very nice bars and cafes close by.

" i have just recently returned from... "

i have just recently returned from here and i must say i loved every moment of the holiday and the appartments are really nice the blacony is really big plenty of room and the appartment its self has lots of space the cleaners are in everyday apart from 1 day out the whole week to change the beds clean the room and give you clean towels the only thing is the pool bar is quite expensive but there are plenty of food places down the bottom on the hill which are quite cheap also another thing is if you come in really late at night as me and my friends did most times (were 18-21 and we came to have a good time) the security guy was quite cheeky telling us to shut up and when we asked for spare keys he did shout at us but thats the only thing i would fault with the apartments everything else was ok nice and clean and staff were helpful i can't comment on entertaiment as we did not go to any of it but theres a family bar called cheers down the bottom on the hill which is such a good laugh with entertaiment on every night and the staff there are really friendly and make you feel welcome other than that taxis are really cheap if ure looking to venture out futher

this was a holiday of a lifetime and i would definatly come back and stay at los alisios

" We came back from here last Friday,... "

We came back from here last Friday, and have to say, yes the apartments are in need of some nice furniture, as it is a bit dated, but i have to say its been one of the best apartments i have been to in years, so spacious, clean and comfortable.

They are suffering from subsidence, so maybe they wont be there much longer, i had read some really bad reviews about the Los Alisios and was dreading going on holiday, but i had no fault with the room at all, the only moan i have is the pool, all the fools that wait on the wee man taking the chains of the bed every morning, just for people to lay there towels down and they lay empty all day, this should not be allowed.

My husband and son and i had a great time in these apartments, all staff i spoke to couldnt have ben any nicer, fair enough the entertainment was poor, but its the first apartments i have been to that actually give you some entertainment, normally its hotels that provide it, not apartments.

I would reccomend these apartments to anyone, as long as you dont mind the fight for a sun bed, i actually heard a man moan as he walked past me one day, he complained someone had stole his parrasol, what a shame, maybe if he had actually been lying on his sunbed for part of the day they wouldnt have taken it, just a pity you couldnt take their sunbed when they dont show there face all day.

" well were can i begin we have just... "

well were can i begin we have just arived home and i would not recomend los alisios to my worst enemy it was tired and run down it is twenty yrs old and my can you tell the bar shut at 11 1130 every night because they have alot of spanish residents who live there all year round one of which had two dogs that constantley barked and were left on the balcony all day long then he would hit them to make them stop barking he also kicked his front door in on a number of occasions not nice for children to witness which our children did and were horefide of a mornin you had to be up early for a sun lounger as people would put towels on them as soon as they were unchaind some people would leave towels on them all day long go out for the day then come back to the sun loungers while other people had been waiting for one all day long the entertainment well what can i say there was none the security man who is on reception of an evening was extremley rude for anyone who has stayed here will know what i mean we were also told by the tour operator we were 200 meters from the beach what a joke that was you have got to like walking to stay here as it is agood 25 mts walk for the nearest beach and that is realy stoney if you are a family thinking of staying at los alisios all i woulk say to you is think again the rooms have no microwaves and the cooker has only two rings as a family of four this was no use to us the staff are ok until you have a problem they are not interested the same as our rep he wasnt interested either we met a lot of other families while we were we there and they feal the same as my family let down by the tour operator and by los alisios how this is three star i dont know i would be hard pushed to give it one never mind three this holiday cost quite alot and was not worth a penny of it thats why we have taken it further with the tour operrator well whay else can i say apart from dont stay in los alisios

" This was our first trip tp the... "

This was our first trip tp the Canaries. With our two boys ages 14 and 12 years respectively, it was going to be a challenge. We all felt very much at home here. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, well kitted and maintained. These were cleaned meticulously five days in the week. The onsite minimarket was limited and pricy and not much evening entertainment offered. Having said that, there are very competitive and well stocked supermarkets and a host of bars and restaurants that cater for the multitudes within half a mile radius. If the complex is full, you have to rise early to get sunbed and umbrella if you want to lounge around the pool.Yes the dog barked, birds sung, maintainance during the day etc but this added to our very relaxing and enjoyable two week stay at Los Alisios. If we decide to make another trip to Canaries this would be our first choice.

" Have just got back from our holiday... "

Have just got back from our holiday and i needed to tell other people what to expect. Our first few days were good then we noticed towels on sunbeds as soon as they unchained the beds if you didnt get down there you had no choice but sit on the floor or your lilo. While walking around the hotel we saw a sign for the tropical bar so thought we would go there that night got ready walked to were the sign was pointing and no bar,we walked around the whole hotel to be told it was not in use anymore didnt go down very well.So we just went into town after that.On the second week we met this really nice family who had two children just as we did so we would meet up every day,at night we would have tea and then meet up at pool bar we would sit and chat and have a few drinks and enjoy ourselves. We met up the next night and the bar closed at 11.45 which we thought was good as on the sign it said 11.30,next night we went and it closed at 10.45 and then some bloke came and turned the lights off while we were still drinking, this carried on every night with no explanation. On one of these nights both pool tables were being used by young children of families who were sat at tables at bar and the man still switched the lights off so they had to stop playing, the friend we were with spoke to man and said we would like the 2 euros back for the games of pool and the man said that we were just trouble makers. We complained to our rep but nothing was done about it carried on every night.I think the main problem with the hotel is that there is residents staying there while there is holiday makers who have saved up the whole year for a two week holiday that want to have fun and relaxation but cannot do that with moaning residents and a dog that barks mostly at 2.00 in the morning. There is a board by the pool with rules that says No diving,No towels on sunbeds,No ball games and the pool would be shut at 8.00,yes you have to have rules but none of the staff seemed to care what was happening it was if they just could"nt be bothered to help.I would go to tenerife again but would never stay at los allisios who ever gave them the three keys needs there eyes tested and stay out of the sun because they need there head examined.
