Comments:  i have just recently returned from here and i must say i loved every moment of the holiday and the appartments are really nice the blacony is really big plenty of room and the appartment its self has lots of space the cleaners are in everyday apart from 1 day out the whole week to change the beds clean the room and give you clean towels the only thing is the pool bar is quite expensive but there are plenty of food places down the bottom on the hill which are quite cheap also another thing is if you come in really late at night as me and my friends did most times (were 18-21 and we came to have a good time) the security guy was quite cheeky telling us to shut up and when we asked for spare keys he did shout at us but thats the only thing i would fault with the apartments everything else was ok nice and clean and staff were helpful i can't comment on entertaiment as we did not go to any of it but theres a family bar called cheers down the bottom on the hill which is such a good laugh with entertaiment on every night and the staff there are really friendly and make you feel welcome other than that taxis are really cheap if ure looking to venture out futher

this was a holiday of a lifetime and i would definatly come back and stay at los alisios

Comments:  We came back from here last Friday, and have to say, yes the apartments are in need of some nice furniture, as it is a bit dated, but i have to say its been one of the best apartments i have been to in years, so spacious, clean and comfortable.

They are suffering from subsidence, so maybe they wont be there much longer, i had read some really bad reviews about the Los Alisios and was dreading going on holiday, but i had no fault with the room at all, the only moan i have is the pool, all the fools that wait on the wee man taking the chains of the bed every morning, just for people to lay there towels down and they lay empty all day, this should not be allowed.

My husband and son and i had a great time in these apartments, all staff i spoke to couldnt have ben any nicer, fair enough the entertainment was poor, but its the first apartments i have been to that actually give you some entertainment, normally its hotels that provide it, not apartments.

I would reccomend these apartments to anyone, as long as you dont mind the fight for a sun bed, i actually heard a man moan as he walked past me one day, he complained someone had stole his parrasol, what a shame, maybe if he had actually been lying on his sunbed for part of the day they wouldnt have taken it, just a pity you couldnt take their sunbed when they dont show there face all day.

Comments:  well were can i begin we have just arived home and i would not recomend los alisios to my worst enemy it was tired and run down it is twenty yrs old and my can you tell the bar shut at 11 1130 every night because they have alot of spanish residents who live there all year round one of which had two dogs that constantley barked and were left on the balcony all day long then he would hit them to make them stop barking he also kicked his front door in on a number of occasions not nice for children to witness which our children did and were horefide of a mornin you had to be up early for a sun lounger as people would put towels on them as soon as they were unchaind some people would leave towels on them all day long go out for the day then come back to the sun loungers while other people had been waiting for one all day long the entertainment well what can i say there was none the security man who is on reception of an evening was extremley rude for anyone who has stayed here will know what i mean we were also told by the tour operator we were 200 meters from the beach what a joke that was you have got to like walking to stay here as it is agood 25 mts walk for the nearest beach and that is realy stoney if you are a family thinking of staying at los alisios all i woulk say to you is think again the rooms have no microwaves and the cooker has only two rings as a family of four this was no use to us the staff are ok until you have a problem they are not interested the same as our rep he wasnt interested either we met a lot of other families while we were we there and they feal the same as my family let down by the tour operator and by los alisios how this is three star i dont know i would be hard pushed to give it one never mind three this holiday cost quite alot and was not worth a penny of it thats why we have taken it further with the tour operrator well whay else can i say apart from dont stay in los alisios

Comments:  This was our first trip tp the Canaries. With our two boys ages 14 and 12 years respectively, it was going to be a challenge. We all felt very much at home here. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, well kitted and maintained. These were cleaned meticulously five days in the week. The onsite minimarket was limited and pricy and not much evening entertainment offered. Having said that, there are very competitive and well stocked supermarkets and a host of bars and restaurants that cater for the multitudes within half a mile radius. If the complex is full, you have to rise early to get sunbed and umbrella if you want to lounge around the pool.Yes the dog barked, birds sung, maintainance during the day etc but this added to our very relaxing and enjoyable two week stay at Los Alisios. If we decide to make another trip to Canaries this would be our first choice.

Comments:  My girlfriend and i both enjoyed our stay at the Los Alisios apartments last year, we found them very spacious and clean dont know why people are putting this place down we had a fantastic time and no doubt we will be back again.

The complex is a little out of the way from the main town of Los Cristianos but their are plenty of bars and little tavernas on the way into the town. The shopping precinct in Cristianos is fantastic what you cant get their isnt worth getting anyway and only a stones throw away from the Americas.

Happy holidays..

Comments:  Have just got back from our holiday and i needed to tell other people what to expect. Our first few days were good then we noticed towels on sunbeds as soon as they unchained the beds if you didnt get down there you had no choice but sit on the floor or your lilo. While walking around the hotel we saw a sign for the tropical bar so thought we would go there that night got ready walked to were the sign was pointing and no bar,we walked around the whole hotel to be told it was not in use anymore didnt go down very well.So we just went into town after that.On the second week we met this really nice family who had two children just as we did so we would meet up every day,at night we would have tea and then meet up at pool bar we would sit and chat and have a few drinks and enjoy ourselves. We met up the next night and the bar closed at 11.45 which we thought was good as on the sign it said 11.30,next night we went and it closed at 10.45 and then some bloke came and turned the lights off while we were still drinking, this carried on every night with no explanation. On one of these nights both pool tables were being used by young children of families who were sat at tables at bar and the man still switched the lights off so they had to stop playing, the friend we were with spoke to man and said we would like the 2 euros back for the games of pool and the man said that we were just trouble makers. We complained to our rep but nothing was done about it carried on every night.I think the main problem with the hotel is that there is residents staying there while there is holiday makers who have saved up the whole year for a two week holiday that want to have fun and relaxation but cannot do that with moaning residents and a dog that barks mostly at 2.00 in the morning. There is a board by the pool with rules that says No diving,No towels on sunbeds,No ball games and the pool would be shut at 8.00,yes you have to have rules but none of the staff seemed to care what was happening it was if they just could"nt be bothered to help.I would go to tenerife again but would never stay at los allisios who ever gave them the three keys needs there eyes tested and stay out of the sun because they need there head examined.

Comments:  Well you defo get what you pay for, the hotel was just on the nice side. Many of times during the day you can hear staff making repairs to the apartments. A member of staff that lived in one of the top apartment had a dog an that would bark morning, noon and night. The stray cats just pester you when your eating around the pool bar.
The pool bar its self was ok for food, just a few times they didnt have everything on the menu.
The shop was basic, but all the things you need. The spar is just 5 minutes away so its not bad at all.
We ate a few times at harry ramsdens, which is also just 5 minutes walk away, all english staff. One place to defo visit in a new pizza type place called Robineo just over the roundabout as you walk away from the hotel, it really nice an all cooked from fresh.
Loro Parque is a must for all lovers of animals, its was just a wonderful day out.
Aqua Park is a big no no, booked from hotel an waited for the free bus but was unable to get on it as there was to many people waiting for it, so we decided to get a taxi which was about 7 euros, once inside you have to pay for your sunbeds 4euros each as well as the rubber rings to use over half the rides.
Back at the hotel there was no entertainment even though there is a tropical bar which was stocked with cots an old beds.
The BBQ was advitised for a thursday but both time over the 2 weeks the BBQ was not happening.

So over all the holiday was ok could have been much better had we not been delayed 14 hours at Gatwick

Comments:  Me and my partner stayed at these apartments in june 2008, we were very pleased with the hotel, very clean with cleaners there everyday, the pool was a good size, entertainment was lacking but that was prob to do with the time of the year. Privacy between the balconys was not that good, but it would be a good way of getting to know people. The shop was poor on the complex and the bar was pretty expensive. But we would have to say that it would be in the top 10 hotels in tenerife. The rooms are very spacious and the balcony is massive, but as usual single beds and a tiny tv with sky news. LOCATION - 5 mins walk from all amenities beach, resturants and pubs, los cristianos beach is a building site at the moment but the beach 1 min round the corner is gorgeous with a man made waterfall in the middle. Plenty of day trips to go on including a waterpark, night time trips were very ltd, places to eat were average and nightlife was lacking entertainment, though the irish bar there was amazing, the staff and the live band were great, def have to go see. But would go back tomorrow.

Comments:  We have just enjoyed a very pleasant stay in the Los Alisios in Tenerife. After reading the reviews we were worried that we were going to a holiday from hell but we were very pleasantly surprised.

The los Alisios is dated so don’t be going expecting to see something that’s modern because it’s not, but then again how often do u sit in the room looking at the furniture? When there is a fabulous beach not far away.

The cleanliness there was spot on there was fresh towels every day and the beds changed most days too. The staff were all very helpful and always eager to help if needed. The pool is also clean and nicely kept.

Did see a few cats knocking around but they were just passing strays that we had no problems with. The hill that leads to the hotel is a bit of a killer when pushing a pram but it is manageable (helped with the waist line felt like I was doing a workout every day) ha-ha.

Overall I would recommend the los Alisios and yes I have been home for two weeks and already booked again for this Christmas so it shows what I think...

Comments:  Where do you start?

I had organised for a party of 13 adults in 6 x 1 bed apartments, paid a high rate because of New Year.

When we arrived we were told only 3 apartments available and that 6 people would have to share, no help just a take it or leave it attitude. We had to go around other apartments to get a room the next day at another high cost, as a so called 3 bed unit was at best good for 4.

This created a massive rift within our company. Rooms are very tired not good, supposed to be 3 keys, I doubt the people who gave it this score have actually seen all around this place. KEEP AWAY is my advice.

P.S watch out for thieving.

Comments:  Having read some of the negative reviews on this site we were a little concerned. However we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the complex.

The apartments were quite basic and functional, but on the other had they were spacious and clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

To be fair to this and similar resorts I have stayed in, they are not an expensive solution and to a certain extent you get what you pay for! All you can ask on this kind of budget is what I mentioned above.

In addition to this, the staff were courteous and helpful. The shower could have been better and the beds more comfortable but these are small issues which did not mar our overall enjoyment. I would go back.

Comments:  On arrival we had to wait an hour for our apartment because they didn't believe my name was England! We went to our apartment and the front door looked like it had been broken into, then entering we were shocked at how many tiles were broken - we could pick them up, we complained but nothing was done the week we were there. When we opened the balcony door there was a dog looking at us from next door so every morning my partner cooked breakfast and the dog would cry which put us off a bit to say the least. Also the head came off the shower and we complained in the morning, came back after a long walk to Los Cristianos to find it hadn't been done so complained yet again they came at 7.30 in the evening. The pool wasn't cleaned the whole week we were there but was hosed down every morning. Wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone! FAR TO MUCH WALKING.

Comments:  Negatives: One of the beds squeaked at the slightest movement forcing my partner to sleep on the sofa. We stayed in block "B" which backed onto a busy road, traffic noise kept me awake. We both ended up sleeping in the lounge on the put my up beds.

Positives: It was cleaned, towels changed, beds made on a regular basis and all staff were friendly and helpful.

PS: If you don't enjoy walking for 10 to 30 minutes to get to places, get a taxi or stay elsewhere.

Comments:  After reading some of the negative reviews on this site, we weren’t sure what to expect before arriving at the Los Alisios apartments…

However, we were very pleasantly surprised. Spacious, functional apartments provided a more than adequate base and were cleaned daily by charming maids. The staff were excellent; friendly and accommodating, they really did go above and beyond the call of duty.

The poolside bar was magnificent; a quaint, rustic affair that is highly recommended for traditional Spanish cuisine and an extensive range of cocktails that would be more at home in some bar on Sunset Boulevard! The staff were attentive and kept an air of dignified bonhomie despite some of the (English) guests' apparent ignorance and lack of grace.

In terms of entertainment, me and my friends particularly enjoyed the Book Club on Wednesday evening, in which we discussed The Castle by Franz Kafka. There was also a nightly Arthouse Cinema screening, the highlight of which being Luis Bunuel’s Le Fatôme de la Liberté.

The Parrot Show was also good value.

The hotel was situated atop a rather large hill, at the bottom of which being the beach, as well as the main body of bars, restaurants and shops. It’s a bit of a trek, but definitely worth taking an extra ten minutes stroll along the main beach, as there is a lovely little “Hawaiian” themed beach around a cove which is quite beautiful.

All in all, a very relaxing week thanks largely to the efficiency and charisma of Los Alisios.

Comments:  I am just back from holiday yesterday, we stayed in the Los Alisos apartments and I would have to say they were very spacious and kept clean, I was very shocked at how many clean towels they gave us and how often!

We stayed a 2 minute walk from my Mother in-laws bar (CHEERS BAR!!) which made that even better!

I did notice the whole 7 days they only cleaned the pool once, I was very disappointed how cold the pool was, my youngest son could never go in it, as was far too cold.

I would definitely go back. Love it was really good!
