Hotel - food very good and staff helpful, several languages spoken including English and Japanese! rooms clean and spacious.
Highlights - the wine tasting evening in town, the price of wine at the hotel (only EUR 8 per litre for the reasonable house wine) and missing the last lift back to Sestriere by 10min on a trip to Mont Genevre (taxi from the other side of the mountain was only EUR 30).
The locals are friendly and helpful.
Downside - it was March and some of the links on the Milky Way were snow free areas and link lifts had to be taken down, Sestriere itself was OK - just.
