Ocean Beach Aparthotel

A very nice hotel which is now named Villa de Adeje Beach aparthotel.
Our room at the hotel was of a fair size and was very clean. We stayed in room 407, which overlooked the pool and the sea was also in view. If you go, ask to stay above the 4th floor, otherwise you may end up below the pool, where you have no view of anything really.
My family (myself, hubby, and 2 kids) stayed here for 2 weeks. We really enjoyed our stay, nightly entertainment which was sort of o.k., with reptile, snake, and parrot shows.
There was also a nightly quiz and sometimes bingo! Pool was fine, pool bar opens 10-6p.m. although a varied selection of food in the restaurant, and it got quite repetitive and was not always as hot as it should have been.
The hotel is situated in a great location. A 5 minute walk to the beach and also in the other direction a 5min walk to the aqua park. The jungle park is recommended with a really good bird show.
the only down side to this holiday, is the people trying to get you to go and eat in their restaurants, there are absolutely loads of them and we got really fed up with them on to you all of the time, just tell them you’re not interested and they will leave you alone.
Would go to Tenerife again, as weather was absolutely brilliant, really hot!!

On the whole excellent apartments and would stay there again.
Swimming pool was clean although the water was a bit cold for the kids.
Rooms were nice but found having to pay for the television by meter was a pain and to be honest a bit of a cheek.
The only other complaint really was that the entertainment in the evenings was a bit of a shambles.
There was supposed to be a disco for the kids every night but it either never happened or it started far too late.
Overall though, an enjoyable holiday.

Worst holiday ever as regards to accommodation. Very noisy at night, doors banging, next door fighting, although security came to settle.
Tried to get moved but rep stated couldn’t get in touch with us at any stage. I had left my mobile number and she obviously new my room number. Wouldn’t have imagined if we were trying to be contacted in an emergency from home, what it would be like, as we were on the island. And they could not contact us for four days. Broken glass lay on steps up to the pool. Sun loungers most uncomfortable.
Rooms are fairly spacious although no air conditioning which was my first reason we asked to be moved. Location very good. But overall this place needs complete transformation!

My first ever holiday, it was the best yet. The staff were really kind and helpful. The entertainment was brilliant.
Pools were great, not far from the beach, I loved it, it was brill. I would recommend this to any one. And the water park was fab just up the road I loved it.
This area is ideal for young couples and families. The night life is brill and the lighting at night.

Great hotel, staff really friendly, although when booked requested extras did not get any, so if adults are sleeping in the lounge area very uncomfortable.
Bars and restaurants just across the road are great especially "the ship" and "Chaplin’s" food really good and they are great with the kids.
Only downside when around the pool it is very, very slippery so watch the kids. Apart from that would go again.

Excellent location, quiet enough for when you want to be quiet, but bars just round the corner when you fancy a drink.
Shops and supermarkets near as well. Rooms were very clean and quite spacious. Only thing that stops it being a 10 is having to hire a kettle !!! All staff were very helpful. Top place.

Absolutely superb location! Lots of bars and restaurants just across the road.....you just cannot get bored. The beach is not far but is down a very steep hill at the side of the hotel and it gets slippy. As for the hotel itself.....the staff are great...friendly and helpful AND English speaking. The rooms are well kept and clean as is the pool area. You may want to set your alarm clock early for the sunbeds, which are uncomfortable (you can hire a thick mat from the pool bar). The hotel has nightly entertainment, which is great, but the drinks are expensive.
To look at the hotel from the outside you may think that all the rooms have a great view BUT they DONT....If you book a studio you will have a room at the back which overlooks a walkway and the Ocean Park, you will get NO sun on your balcony. The hotel also has rooms BELOW pool level and you get no view from your balcony and no sun. The good balconies are Apartments on floor 4 and above!
I have stayed in these apartments a few times and would go back, the top and bottom of it, they’re clean, friendly and in a superb location.
