we just return from tenerife where we enjoyed a lot our short winter holidays.
the hotel was great, small and a bit old but clean. the staff was brilliant and very helpfull.
the local rating is 3 * and it is up to our expectations.
we recommend that place for those looking for a well located hotel and a family atmosphere.

A very clean nice place to go. Great location near a spar shop and a 24/7 minimarket. About 5 min wak to the beach and the lively fornt of americas. Satisfactory Hotel from wiggywig
Hotel was ok and basically fitted the requirements for the week. Very close the all the areas of attraction for the resort. Room was fairly dated and could do some maintenance and updating. Patio door effectively had no lock. Shower did not look great but was actually excellent and with good pressure and plenty of hot water. Good pool area and the staff were friendly enough. No problems regarding how clean the hotel was. more

Right, Just back form a week half board at the Bonanza hotel, here are my thoughts: Location - 10 mins downhill walk to Veronicas, 5 mins downhill walk to beach and bars. Right next to a main road so not a good hotel for light sleepers, also the bins were emptied every morning between 2 and 3.30am. Cleanliness - the maids came every day bar one - they were very thorough. The best thing I can say about this hotel is that it is very clean & not too badly situated. The cleaners really give it a good going over every day. Now the bad bits. The food is terrible (We were half board but ate out every night bar one it was that bad) The bar only opened for 2 nights out of 7 while we were there! Wicked holiday from snuffet
The bonanza is a lovely hotel, with really pleasant friendly staff. We actually booked a 2 star hotel and as there was a problem with the room so they moved us to the bonanza which i was well chuffed with. The room service was excellent and the room was spotless. It is a shame if you do get broken into but at the end of the day who leaves the key for the safe in the room (duh) and who would actually leave their bag out with money in it? if you double lock the door at night and when you go out it is very unlikely that you could be... more
An excellent choice from pujugua
We, my wife and I, have just returned from a week at the Bonanza Apartments. We have been a lot of times at Playa de las Americas in Tenerife but this has been our first stay at Bonanza Apartments. We recommend it because it is clean, quite close to the beach, meals are OK, the apartments have see view and a kitchentte with everything you need, the pool is not crowded, and the staff are very friendly. It is an excellent choice for the money you pay. Of course, next time we will come back to the Bonanza Apartments. more

Just back from staying at the Bonanza Apartments, Apartment was broken into twice, - on the third night, €150 was taken out of the safe, for which we had paid €11 for, We had hidden the key in the room and was told by "Patrick" on reception because of OUR negligence of leaving the key, was why it was broken into. He forgot the actual fact, that the apartment had to be broken into to get to the safe..
