Park Hotel Izmir

Picked the hotel using Tripadvisor reviews and definitely not disappointed. High quality boutique hotel with interesting parking (free) arrangements, although we did not use this facility. We had a large room (No. 304 if you are booking) that was well furnished and fitted out e.g. Sat TV with access to BBC, aircon, minibar (use it to keep your own drinks cold), choice of pillows and a huge range of 'room accessories', good bathroom and large shower (no real bath but then we never use one anyway). The facade of the hotel is not very nice, but the inside is nice. The staff is not very good at english so there is a language barrier! Location is ok, not to sure what is around because i haven´t explored to much, but i found a couple of cheep kebab restaurants and and a small amusement park near by. They have internet access, but i had problems connection my Macbook Pro, i think its a bit old. I got a very quiet room, that was nice.

everything was excellent for a little price! the restaurant is very cheap and very good! tho only one fault was the location: in the center of the city, but in a bad district. however don't visit Izmir for a holiday, not worthwhile visit this awful city.

We lived in Izmir 7 years ago and were returning for the first time since then. We had no idea about hotels because much has changed within the city in the 7 years. We found the Park Hotel online and it had many good ratings. It's easy to see why...the hotel was immaculate, the breakfast buffet was fabulous and plentiful, the staff was super courteous. clean room, excellent breakfast buffet included in the price, free internet, reasonable pickup from airport, within close distance of basmane train station. all in all, not bad. front desk service could be friendlier, but their english is better than my turkish, so i can't complain. A-

Stayed here for 2 nights after seeing it recommended on trip advisor. This place is a gem, great staff, great rooms,great food and drink!!! and very reasonable for hotel prices. They have a really neat bar here, the menu is extensive for asmall hotel which really impressed me and the srvice was awesome. I will be coming back here later in the year as everything was perfect for my stay.

The hotel is located on a side street between two major roads. It was somewhat close to everything, including buses and bazaars. However, our room was quiet. The room itself was nice, the first room that we were given had an issue with the fridge making lots of noise. The front desk quickly changed rooms for us. When you first arrive at Izmir Park Hotel you may be fooled by the narrow and somewhat old and degraded street in the heart of the Basmane district (see picture). But once you cross the door, you enter in another dimension of quality, service and comfort. The Izmir Park Hotel is not only the best Hotel I have been in Turkey, but also one of the best Hotels of its range I have ever been world wide. Nice boutique hotel in downtown Izmir. Location leaves somewhat to be desired, but the hotel itself makes up for the location. Breakfast was very good, with excellent service. Rooms were nice, but the carpets needed to cleaned/replaced. That's really just the only gripe I have about the rooms. I'd stay there again, depending on price. I think a 4-star rating is a bit generous for this property. More like a solid 3-star.

We stayed at the Park Hotel in Izmir one night (one double, one single). The hotel is in Izmir's business centre 5 min from Basmane train and Metro station and the fair (fuar) in a lively area with lots of shops and restaurant around. In spite of this it is not loud. Rooms are of reasonable size, clean and nicely furnished with all amenities you would expect in this price range (less than 100 $ per room, though I would expect somewhat higher prices during trade fair times).
