the hotel was ok, clean and presentable with aircon included.the food was an open buffet every night but very repetetive, the food was put out from 4pm and resturant opened at 7pm.this might have had something to do with the bad guts we all went down with. alanya is very much a german and russian resort with sausage on the menu everywhere.there isn't anything to do daytime other than to be pestered by shopkeepers selling fake t-shirts of varying quality, some of the touting is quite agressive and becomes a real chore after a week.this doesn't bother the germans who are all inclusive and don't leave the pool until time for dinner.nighttime is better with many bars within easy reach of the hotel some of which are a good laugh.in summuary - hotel not bad, hygene could be better, resort a bit dull.

unfortunately i have to agree with other reveiws i have read. we returned from a week long stay at alaiye and can say we were not impressed. to start the hotel room was very small the corner balcony was tiny the veiw out our first room at the back was terrible and not very private as you could clearly hear the guests above having a conversation and next door walking about with her room phone constantly ringing. we did not find the hotel staff particularly friendly and decided not to speak english.when we were leaving our room the bar bill had been added to bye some one else (so he said )so keep an eye on that one. everything seemd to be catered towards Germans. we do recomend this hotel because it is cleanlines and position to the town and beach and most of the staff do try especially the cleaners dont expect the ritz. i would encourage you to try summer love restaurant out the back of the hotel the food is off good quality and resnable priced the staff were a scream robin is the best cheers to them

Just got back from a two week holiday. The staff are brilliant and always willing to help in any way they can. One member of staff Mahir was brilliant he always smiling and asking how we where. He even jumped into action when i choked on something. A fantastic man who is an asset to the hotel and should be praised for what he did.
There was building work right outside of our room ( very naughty of Thomas cook not to tell us) and builders could look in. We were also under the dining room and as breakfast started at 7 if you wanted to sleep in a bit longer after a night out it wasn’t brilliant as you could hear the people up stairs.
I wouldn’t recommend going half board we found drinks expensive.
Pool is fantastic a brilliant place to relax and forget about the stress of work. I will be going again
