What a great little villa, which has everything you need. Three great bedrooms (main with en-suite), two sizeable living rooms and all the equipment you need for your stay. There is a smart little roof terrace and a built in BBQ. The pool is plenty big enough are the surrounding gardens are really lush. The villa is kept very clean by the cleaner and the guy who visits to do the pool and the garden twice a week. The beech and harbour are about 25 mins walk away or just 3-4 euros in a taxi. There is plenty of parking just outside the villa and a supermarket within walking distance.
There are a couple of things which let the villa down but these were very minor: the cleaner has a key and just let herself in at any time and the gardener did the same but neither shout before they come in. Unfortunately this lead to a couple of embarrasing situations for the girls. The pool is not heated so we didnt use it as much as we thought (believe it or not the water was really cold) and the rooms are all twin rather than double - but as I said...minor. The harbour and beaches are beautiful and if you have a car its worth a trip out. There is a gypsy market on a wednesday morning in Quarteira although this is not the nicest place to wonder round for the day but Albufeira is really nice with a good shopping centre. I would recommend you go on a BOAT TRIP AT THE BEGINNING OF THE HOLIDAY as you can see more from the coast. We missed out on some really nice places/beeches as we did the boat trip on the last day....a half day trip is plenty. We will definately be going back !

We stayed in this hotel 1years ago.we went with 3 children and 2 of our friends but they were staying in a 5* hotel called the vila sol golf resort. When we got there the villa was hard to find no one gave us directions on how to get there. we only had a few directions. they told us that the villa would be ready for 3:00pm but we got there late and the cleaner was still there at 4:00pm. There was only single beds and NO double beds. The villa was really musty and had a horrible smell. The rep told us that there had been some break-ins around the area and told us to shut all the shutters before going to bed. The door didn't shut properly. We asked the maid where the nearest supermarket was and she just didn't know what we were saying!! we never found one in the end.. Later we went to our friends hotel and asked if they had any rooms they could fit all 5 of us in to a vila sol golf resort apartment. It was brilliant. I would really recommend the hotel it was great. A big pool and taxi service to the marina and beach. I hope this has helped make the right decision.
