Hotel Club Ilayda

We went with our three children in august,we read the reviews but had already booked up by then.When we arrived the air conditioning was not working in our room,the curtains fell down,tap fell off and the kitchen draw handle fell off,the room was very very basic and old.the slide is very UNSTABLE and my heart went every time one of my children went to go on it.When we booked up it stated there was a kids club yet there is not one,you pay over the odds for rubber rings etc so id suggest you take your own ones as the hotel is not the... more

just returned from club ilayda after spending two weeks there with my wife and teenage son and we had a fantastic time ,room had all facilities and was always cleaned ,all staff were helpful and frienldly ,pool was great and clean . food in restaurant was great ,cocktails were even better. If i have one gripe dont go half board as the food was a poor selection and very limited. We paid and extra £300 to go half board and as eatin out is cheap anyway we strongly recommend you dont go half board ! Eatin out is so cheap and worth trying... more

my family and i went to club ilyda 2 years ago in the brocher the rooms looked a lot bigger but when we arrived the room was very small and so was the balcony we also had no cutlery which we had to ask for and the air conditionig was a wateof money. the pool was big and there was enterainment at night which was good for the kids and there was pool tables and internet acess. the watiers were and no hassle to buy drinks or eat there. but i must say one of the watiers pushed my young sister into the pool and she sliced her foot on a bit of... more

This is our 3rd trip to Marmaris and 2nd time staying at the Ilyda. Unfortunately the Ilyda was not as good to stay in as our previous visit. We stayed in the Annex this year. Cannot complain about the standard of rooms, although the Air Con is a joke and not worth the money - head up to Kippa (Tesco) and buy a couple of fans much better and cheaper. Food in the hotel is ok but expensive. Entertainment in the hotel at night is limited and the price/quality of drinks are poor. Watch out for the photographer around the pool, he takes... more

I've just spent a week at this hotel with my 18yr old cousin, I'm 23. We were very impressed with our room upon arriving at 5.30am ish. The whole of the main block has been renovated. The rooms are lush. Very smart, trendy and modern. They were attended each day buy the cleaners, thought not 100% sure what they did other then straighten the bed, which I did myself most days. just got back from ilayda. stayed at the 5 star grand pasa last year which of course this is not but it definitely grows on you. why ??..The staff are really nice and friendly especially the bar staff. The reception staff were very helpful and patient always dealing with everything we asked for from change of room at the start ( i think we were given the worst room in the hotel not yet refurbished and low ceilings that we banged our head on ) but they changed it without fuss or complaint. the hotel is clean and the rooms are cleaned... more

just got back last week on arrival thought that the hotel looked good for what we paid, till i saw it in the daylight there are ai and a l carte restruaunts (the latter you pay for) did not try the a l carte as the standard of food was so bad (in ther ai) that we had to eat out every lunch and dinner and most breakfasts.the pool area was well kept and the staff were friendly. the rest of the hotel was being developed from a shop to a barbers,good location for nightlife and beach,marina. overall had a good holiday but will go s/c... more

we enjoyed our holiday,but when arrived 2 find it wasnt a 4 star but we rated it a 2 star. rooms neaded done up. the pool was good kids enjoyed it,the weather really good !!!! the staff was very friendly indeed... would go back again,not so sure would stay there.. turkish bath must have!!!!!!

Initially we were booked to stay at Club Amaris but this was changed at the last minute by the tour operator as Club Amaris season was coming to an end on the 13th Ocotber and we were booked to stay there from the 16th. Club Ilayda wasnt my first choice but nevertheless we stayed here as this was the only place available from the tour operator. We arrived and were taken to our rooms. stayed at club ilayda end aug-sept. read a few reviews and was a bit uneasy but have to say when we got there is looked nice and clean. cleaners came in everyday unlike the maid, who left a envelope for a tip. My tip was make the beds and change the sheets more often. the pool had a lovely spiral slide which all ages used it was brill kept u fit climbing stairs.
