the staff(martine,hussan,jack,jimmy)are very good at there jobs,very attentive and good fopr a laugh,the owners and there family are a differant matter(very grumpy and rude),i would suggest every time you leave the hotel to go out make sure you pay your bill and check there... more

The rooms were pretty good - we booked 2 rooms both were meant to have 2 single beds and 2 sofa beds, 1 was as described, the other much smaller without the sofas. Room was cleaned everyday but towels and sheets not changed all week. We ate in the place a couple of times which was ok, the staff were either miserable or desperate to sell you excursions or special nights (everyone wants to sell you something in Marmaris) which became very annoying. we arrived in middle of hugh thunder storm, reception was closed finally located staff to be informed they over booked so the was no room at the inn, they then attempted to move us to another hotel down some dirty back alley, which had a number of working girls hanging around. We quickly told them we not staying staff as rude as rude can be, and that we would have to stay as no room at ceylan and nobody to take our cases back to Ceylan anyway. The gentleman seemed to believe that he could bully us into staying because we 2 females. How wrong... more

Me and my boyfriend stayed in the club ceylan apartments in september, i was dreading going there because i had no idea what it would be like. Well anyway, we got there an it looked really nice, better than the other hotels i had seen on the way but this old women greeted up, she wasn't friendly at all..but dont worry, the other people at the apartments are nice, i dont really know what she was doing there. we have just arrived back from a 2 week stay at ceylan aparts they are clean tidy. the cleaners come in every day and are lovely and friendly. pool is good bar staff are lovely but we found if u dont go to there bar for few days they were abit off with u but there a nice bunch of lads. my to girls 17 and 13 loved the place thinking of going back next year. if u do go here try the relax bar u go as far as tar mahl turn right go past a row of shops and its the bar across the little road the bar staff are fab meals are brill.

We had booked a two week holiday (24.08.09 - 07.09.09) from Belfast to Marmaris with Gold trail Holidays. We left Belfast on Monday 24th August at 22.10 and arrived in Marmaris at about 7.30 the next morning. I'm only 13 but I'd like to write a review on the best place to stay in Marmaris! The person who said this is the worst place to stay is talking rubbish. The entertainment by Ozzie was great he done games with us all throught the day. The staff are the nicest people you can meet, Osman who unfortunately left Ceylan, Big John , Alex Ozzie and Yasar , they are all great people. Good two weeks from snotty7
We took 20 teenagers with us and had a great time. Big John, Alex and Ozzy looked after us around the pool and were very tolerant with the lads despite being thrown in the pool on a daily basis. Drinks cheap and hotel laid on a couple of theme nights. Pool area clean and pool not too deep. The big slide was a plus, however the walkway around the pool was very slippery and people were falling all over. A walkway around the pool of non slip mat is a must. We have just got back from a stay here, all i can say is its one of the worst places i have stayed in Marmaris and i have been going for 10 years! We stayed in the annex block over the road from the main apartments, there was a small pool but the area where the sunbeds were smelt of sewerage so it wasnt pleasent to stay there. The rooms looked like they needed a good overhaul was they were very dated, especially the bathroom which was tiny, it had just a shower tray and a curtain so how ever hard you tried the whole room... more

just back from club ceylan turkish call it "jaylan" apartments basic but very clean and spacious maids in every day linen and towels changed every second day pool good size been to a few places in marmaris this one had one of the biggest pools.plenty going on throughtout the day and at night water slide came on at set times of the day.the location is good if you have been to marmaris it is up the side street of the taji mahal about 5 to 10 mins walk from the front depending on how often you get stopped to eat in the resturants as you walk... more
Great Holiday in Marmaris from kenislandmagee
We stayed at the Club Ceylan (pronounced "Jaylan") in Marmaris in June/July 2009 with family and really found this to be a great location for everything. Age wise, our group had from late 40's, to 30's and an 18 and a 15 year old with us, and really had no or little complaints to speak of. These apartments are set just up the road from the "Talk of the Town" and are really quite central for everything.
