Best Western Hotel De La Paix

We've been visiting this hotel for several years and in that time there has been a complete refurb. It's now very stylish and the rooms are a good size.
There's a small leisure area with pool and steam room, but beware - although there is a shallow area for children in the pool you will have to supervise poor swimmers as there's absolutely NOTHING to prevent them from getting into the main area of the pool which is much deeper. Interestingly, the changing rooms don't have a modesty wall inside the door so when someone opens it you are there in all your glory on public view!
You can't beat the hotel for location. It's just a couple of steps to the main Place where everything goes on in the evenings, and there's a new shopping precinct almost directly opposite with all sorts of stylish boutiques as well as a Monoprix.
There are sunbeds in the courtyard where you can chill out with a book and a drink if you don't feel like going anywhere.
Breakfast is taken in the breakfast room near the pool and consists of the usual cold meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc. There is a restaurant which is accessed through a door near reception,. The restaurant opens on to the Place at the front, and although you always pay a little extra for such a nice location, the food is good and the seafoods and salads are to die for.
