This hotel was basic and very clean. rooms quite comfortable with small balcony. Could only sit one person at a time. Air conditionaing available at no extra cost which was much needed.
The staff were friendly but not over fussy. They helped with cases and answered any queries we had.
The breakfast was very basic with bread, jam, boiled eggs, tomato, cucumber and cheese. There was an endless supply of coffee, fruit juice and cold water. Breakfast was served outside round the pool.
Swimming pool very clean and although they advertise childrens pool this is incorporated in the big pool. I would be very hesitant to bring small children to this hotel because of this.
This hotel has four floors and there are no lifts. If you have difficulty walking this is not for you.
Hotel only 300 yards from the beach and promenade which was quite handy.
Dolmus and ferry all within walking distance.

Have just come back from a 2 week stay at the Remer Hotel, Calis Beach. While we absolutely love Calis, we could not say the same about the Hotel. We were in the family suite, which had 2 bedrooms, but unfortunately only had air conditioning in the one room, the cost of the air con was over £30.00 per week, which was double any of the other hotels in the area. The staff spoke very little English, this included the Owner and the Manager. The staff would remove your plates at breakfast, even before you had finished your meal, they would lean over you to move any used items on the table even if you were still eating your meal which we found to be quite rude. The only good point was that the hotel was in a nice position just 50 yards from the sea and all the lovely restaurants along the front.
