Sertorelli Sporthotel

Having just got back form our holiday i thought it would deffinatly write a review about this hotel.
Firstly overall its not a bad hotel and has many positives. The staff are excellent friendly and helpfull. Although it is only maybe a 5 minute walk to either main lift in the vilage, 1 is up lots of steep steps and really not recommended, the other is into the village and slightly further but easier, however the hotel offer a great mini bus service giving a lift in the morning (until 11.30) to the main gondla station., and then are only a phone call away for a lift back at the end of the day. Great service.
There were some really disapointing things with this hotel. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel yet on an evening between 17.30 and 20.00 our room struggled to provide good hot water, it was only ever luke warm, this was not the case at any other time of the day, but still not expected for a 4 star hotel and one of the worst things you can have after a long day on the slopes.....not enough hot water! We were staying in a junior suite which was a nice size room with a balcony on the side of the hotel that had a good view of the mountains, however the room coulour left something to be desired, sickly green throughout, but still nice warm and cosy.
Secondly, the food for Vegitarians is really not very good. Whilst the have a good starter section, they really dont have any thing to over veggies as a main apart from the same pasta dish or an omelete.....this is fine until you have to have this option every night?
There is an excelent (free) little spa area on the 6th floor, it was never really busy when we were there however any more than maybe 20 people and there would be to many, but as I said that never really happened when we were there!
The hotel is situated at the lower end of the town about 2-3 min walk to the main street, there are better placed hotels!
As i said this hotel is reprted as a 4 star I personally think this i to much and shoud really only be a 3star or maybe 3 1/2 star. For the price you have to pay i expected slightly better, as a comparasion the 'Sport Village Hotel - soldue - Andorra' is a far superior hotel that is cheaper than the Sertorelli. This isn't about cheaper its value for money and unfortunatly in my opinion sertorelli isn't value for money.
