well what a holiday my wife and i had.we have been to greece 25 times but had never been to `nidri` in lefkas before. this is the best holiday we have ever had and we have stayed in some very good resorts before.the hotel its self is bed and breakfast only. continental breakfast but still very good.you can either eat inside or outside in the garden over looking the sea and many small islands.the hotel is very clean and the rooms top class.(very good showers).the hotel has its own beach with sunbeds .there are quite a few tavernas on the beach as you walk into `nidri` town, the best being `toms` restaurant. top class greek food .from the hotel it is about a 10 minute walk to the harbour with many great tavernas and restaurants to choose from.the best two we found were the`catamaran` and `el greco` both next door to each other at the far end of the habour.the prices were a litte higher but the food top class.there are many boats that do day trips to many of the islands and well worth doing.if you only want a small trip then go on the `ionian` princess cost 10 euros and visits about four islands with stops.a great day out and not too long.the main street in `nidri` has the usuall gift shops etc and is quite busy at night but still very low key.we will both come back again flly recommended.
