Well what can I say about this hotel - other than if you have kids and they love lego then you must stop here!
From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were had fab service the hotel was a four star hotel and having stopped in many of that range it offered good facillites the room we had was very clean well decorated loved the lego logo carpet and cupboard space and shower room were very clean with a nice power shower, TV did lack english speaking channels but we made do I would say the room size was not huge and if you had more than 2 kids in our room you would feel a bit crammed in.
The hotel is close to the airport but there were no night flights and when they did start it seemed to be about 7am and as we were waking up then to be ready for the park it did not bother us.
Our son loved the facillities from wall to wall lego tubs - yes there were even kits at the resturant tables to amuse them and also the hotel had nighly competitions based on a theme for the week - this week was knights and princesses so the kids had to construct an item add it to a large shelf near to reception and put there name on then in the morning check to see if they had won - lucky for us our son did win one morning, he was delighted with winning a hudge lego city airport (around £85.00 worth of prize) so it well worth entering.
The hotel breakfast was really nice with make your own pancakes and waffles to entertain loads of fresh danish pastries and breads and also bacon an eggs + cereal was on offer. The resturant on the evening was busy and you have to book in the morning if you plan to eat there for your evening meal - they had an al a cart menu or an all you can eat buffet which included a cavery.
Hotel did have a swimming pool which is included in your stay you just ask reception for a token before you go - it was fully kitted out with steam and sauna rooms and and the pool had water slides and a great toddler area it to was open until 9 at night.
The Legoland park was great loads to see and do and it was very clean - the Dannish people are very friendly and all speak good english. The trip was not cheap and the Dannish money is Krona we got around 9KR to the £ - would I go again yes without a doubt and I would stay again at this hotel it was superb!
