Green Holiday Village

enjoyed our stay at green village,staff pleasant,all couples joined in,and there was friendly atmosphere.rooms very comfortable clean and bright.NICE PILLOWS.pool, gardens and bar were very clean and well kept. outside hotel was on a very busy main road which made it hard at night to walk out as there was no paths and little road lighting.although there was a bus right outside if you wanted to go any further afield. We stayed at Green Holiday Village because the original hotel booked closed down at the last minute - and I am so pleased we did. The complex is lovely, the staff are outstanding especially Ijan, David and the Manager Dincer, who could not do enough for us. We travelled as a group of 30+ and everyone left completely satisfied with everything., many will return again. The manager and staff at the Green Holiday Village are outstanding and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was perfect. Buffet breakfast was lovely. The rooms are clean and very well serviced. The pool is beautiful and clean. Although there is a kitchen it doesn't seem to be the custom in Northern Cyprus to provide crockery etc, so take some if you want to self cater. We borrowed and managed salads, bread, cheese etc and there is a good sized fridge to hold lots of drinks. But there is a pool side bar which provides good... more

Altough there was only a kettle,glasses & cups and saucers in the appartment if you ask at the time of booking (as people had) they do provide utenstils or when you require them you just have to ask but as there are plenty of places to eat and a good restrauant & snack bar on site they are unnecessary.The manager and staff are friendly and very helpful (thank you Aycan David & Lucan) and helped to make our stay very pleasant and relaxing.

Booked a week through Direct Traveller (27th September 2008), really wanted to go to the Almond (in Alcansak) as the reviews were so good but they were fully booked so we were offered the Green Holiday Village as an alternative. The Green holiday Village is very nice, lovely rooms with air-con in living room and bedroom. The only gripe we had was that we thought we were getting a self catering apartment as they advertise a fully equiped kitchen. Well a kettle and two cups does not comply to this.
