Advice: It is high, cold, beautiful and definately worth a visit! About 2 hours from Turin airport..
Activities: we ate at the hotel all the time, it was pretty expensive otherwise.

A family run hotel near to the cable car. A bit of a walk up the hill on an evening if you go out. Food homemade and typically italian - delicious but only if you are not a fussy eater! A lot of effort was put into the gala dinner on Christmas day.read more

Hotel Astoria is a fantastic hotel, and is one of the closest hotels to the cable car for Plan Maison. The food is great and if you do not find something suitable, they will arrange for a pasta with tomato sauce or plain meat and veg.

Cervinia is not somewhere for the party animal. There is a nice bar - Linos and a skating rink, but little else. The slopes are fab for beginners and intermediates. They are wide and extensive and you can ski to Switzerland. Don’t touch Les Guides...
