Villa Cap Sud

On viewing this property on the internet, we absolutely love what we saw with the seaviews from the balcony and pool area. Over the time that we dealt with the owner, we were very keen to start our holiday as we had never done a villa holiday before and looking forward to the freedom that hotels do not offer. We read all the reviews that we could find and all of them raved about the place and owners !!!!!! Unfortunately for us, although it mentioned that the owners "shared" the pool it failed to mention that there were two children who would constantly only swim when we swam and ONE of them was extremely rude to us at all occassions. When we tried to eat our meals on the patio outside, the children would be running around screaming at the pool often making it difficult to enjoy our meal and have to move inside. The owner was welcoming to start with but it was very short lived and we realised we were in for a tense time. We felt like we were being watched 24/7 and never once felt like we could relax with them living right above us, from having to tuck the pool chairs towels into the chair cushions in a specific way to making sure we did not drop any crumbs from food around the patio!! What was supposed to be a chilled time away turned out to almost put us off hiring a villa every again. There was truly very little pleasantries with the owner and looking back now, with them being German most of the reviews were from German visitors which may have made a huge difference - maybe they were friends or family - who knows! Our whole family, children alike, found the who experience unpleasant and the only thing that I can mention about the place was that the views were spectacular which will be one of the few happy memories we take away from this holiday along with being with our families.
Sorry but we felt we needed to leave a TRUE review so people that do take these reviews onboard before booking a villa know what we have been though and not get taken by suprise and ruining your holiday. Which to be fair, many of us save a lot of money for and really want it to be worthwhile and enjoyable.
