I use this site to read reviews on hotels when I travel and thought that Birmingham Central Backpackers should be on here as it is a fantasic place. My first hostel/backpackers experience. Anyone visiting birmingham should stay here, they have a great dorm which is a POD, a self enclosed bunk with a reading light and curtains. The common room is really nice, a huge projection TV screen all with hundreds of movies, a nintendo wii, playstaytion 3 (not that I play these) and everything is nice and clean. They have a small bar with international beers. The staff are very friendly.

Birmingham itself is nice, the staff and BCB and also at the tourist Information point gave me great ideas on what to do in the area I spent an extra few days. A great tip to anyone visiting, go to the canals...
