My husband and I stayed at the Peasholm Park Hotel in Scarborough and had a lovely anniversary weekend.The room was very clean,staff friendly and the hotel is very near the sea front.We had a delicious breakfast with locally sourced produce.The weekend rate was very reasonable for such a pretty room.One tip though,dont sleep with the bedroom windows open,the seagull dawn chorus is far from musical!!

Never just had half an hour to go to breakfast before - we were told as long as we ordered before 9, we would have our breakfast, but not what you expect when on holiday.
Nice position, good service, room quite dated, but we just wanted a one night stay over.
Landlady didn't appear very happy when I asked for some marmalade, and unavailable when we wanted to say Cheerio at the end, even though we knew she was in the next room. never mind
