i would definitely recommend Sandymouth Holiday Park , its extreemly clean and very well cared for. As a base this site is perfect for visiting a very large area of north cornwall and north devon . travel to padstow and eat at rick steins restaurants , visit clovelly and see a village locked in time , visit the mysterious tintagel castle . visit woolacombe or ilfracombe and enjoy the fantastic beaches of Devon. 4 miles away is the lovely town of Bude with a beach to die for and all the amenities of a typical seaside town. sandymouth beach is just a short drive from the park with great rock pools and water falls from the rocks and cliffs above. or just spend a relaxing day at the resort with lots to do for the children ,play on the black pearl adventure , swim in the indoor swimming pool .enjoy the events set up by the park staff and spend the evening enjoying the nightly entertainment in the club . 10 out of 10 holiday .

Have just arrived back from sandymouth bay holiday park. The new owners have done a brilliant job never have i been to a holiday park which is so spotless the caravans are the best ever with all mod cons ie dishwasher,washing machine central heating and double glazing to mention just a few. Got the keys about 15.40 was able to unpack and just get on with our holiday the caravan was spotless so clean and modern.The park was also spotless and the bar and swimming pool everything was so clean and the staff and the owner made you feel very welcome. I think haven,park resorts and all the other major holiday companys should go and take a look and take a few tips from sandymouth about cleanless instead of worrying how many caravans they will sell of. The only other park i have been to with the same standards was holiday resort unity in brean sands there caravans were also spotless. It makes such a difference to your holiday if you go somewhere clean and tidy we do enough housework all year and holidays are a time of relaxing if you go to sandymouth bay you will be sure of that there will be no following cleaners and cleaning up other peoples dirt. A big thankyou to all at sandymouth bay holiday park and keep up the good work.

We have just returned from a week's holiday at Sandymouth Holiday Park and yet again was not disappointed. This is our third stay at the park and would struggle to find any major faults.
The moment you arrive at Sandymouth, you are greeted by the well maintained site, the excellent childrens play facilities and the fantastic staff.
We have tried and tested three different Static Homes the Sienna, Genoa and Portofino Plus and all were of a high quality, they have all been clean, well maintained and equipped. Have to admit the Sofa Beds are not that comfy - but when are they??
The grounds are well kept and cannot recall seeing any litter or debris around the site.
The Swimming Pool is clean and warm - but could do with a refurb as is beginning to look a little tired. But is still great fun for the kids.
The club is clean and comfy with an excellent Entertainment Programme and an equally excellent Entertainment Team keeping both children and adults entertained with Games, Party Dances, Bingo, Cabaret and much more.
Keep up the good work Sandymouth, you have won us over - we will be returning again next year.
