Although the hotel is clean and staff are pleasant, this hotel is let down by location. We were kept awake all nites by boy racers driving their cars with squeeling tyres until 4.30 am. The hotel is also near nite clubs so we were kept awake by music and arguments on the street at nite.

Just returned from a 2 week say at the Anemi with my boyfriend. The apartments are centrally located, 30 second walk to Bar Street, although we did not hear any noise during our stay, but this may have been because it was early in the season. Yes there is a topless bar a few yards away (on the corner of Bar Street), but again we did not experience any noise. We had a one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor which was spacious & had English plug sockets. Bathroom was adequate and so was the bedroom. Beds were very uncomfortable though.... more

went for a week to paphos on honeymoon, anemi appartments were excellent, clean and spacious, lovely pool although its deep at both ends and shallow in the middle not ideal for non swimmers,but there is a baby pool next to it. rooms were well equipt with all what you need for self catering. we had a pool view which was nice, some people said that the back rooms were near to a disco which was a bit loud but we didnt experience any noise at all. eating out was excellent with plenty of choice of food from all countries. you must try the rose... more

the good thing about these apartments were they were clean .The downside we couldnt find the tv remote so went to reception to ask for one to be told it was two pounds a day to hire. there were no hairdryers had to go to reception again to borrow one and take it back when you have finished.the sink had a rather large crack in it so we could only have the sink half full or it leaked.shower was often cold especially around 5 or6 pm.quite noisy at night at the back due to a main road and public car park.if you are the type of person to spend... more

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in Paphos. We spent just the 1 night at the Anemi hotel and felt it was neccessary to move! Our room was filthy; dirty floors, stained linen and towels, mouldy shower room, dirty sink and toilet, cigarette butts and orange left on balcony, rusty fridge just to name a few. The hotel itself is dated and in need of some repair, cleanliness is not its fortey. Dont get me wrong I love animals but draw a line with sharing my sunlounger with stray cats. when we first arrived I must admit was a little worried by surroundings as bars nearby very noisy and as previous reviewer states a topless bar, however my fears soon faded, our apartment was spotlessley clean and the staff could not have been more helpfull, our room (overlooking a residential area) was a peacefull haven and we did not experience any resort noise. we stayed in the ANEMI HOTEL for 2 weeks from 17-31st may. WE all loved every minite of it the rooms where cleaned 5/7 days all the staff where more than friendly espically the bar staff. the pool and the rooms are kept well cleaned and maintained would recommened anyone who is going there. you are situated 2 mins from bar street what suited us great and a bonus is you cant hear any noise so its great for the lil ones. the pool is 3 meters deep at both ends so not good for tiny ones however they do hav a lil kids pool to close to sun... more

We have just returned (May 2006) from a week in Paphos, Cyprus where we were staying at the Anemi Appartments. We had a fantastic time and would like to thank the staff at the Anemi for a great holiday! The hotel is situated just two minutes walk from the main Bar Street with all the restaurants and bars and about 15 minute stroll from the harbour. The best beach is called Coral Bay and is a good 20 minute taxi ride at £8 but a pleasant drive and well worth a visit. Buses are also available. Other reviews have mentioned the noise coming... more

Went to Paphos this April just got home a few days ago and im already booking my flight back for june to work there for 2 months, loved the place and the staff were all very helpful and polite and could all speak very good english. The rooms are very clean and basic but i didnt see much of them anyway! The beds are comftable and there is sky tv and air con. the bar is meant to close at 1 but the bar staff are great and open untill you decide to leave.
