Ammos Hotel in Polychrono is light airy comfortable and very clean.
Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very good.
The pool is small but perfectly adequate.
Zoe, our First Choice rep, was extreemely helpful and very charming and funny.
It is about a 10 minute walk down hill to the beach passing right through the main square of Polychrono.
There is ample shopping and many lovely places to eat and drink.
Most of the bars are on the beach front so being 10 mins inland was excellent because there was no noise and if you wanted to party it was only a short walk away.
Polychrono is only 5k from the busy resort of Hanioti where there are many bars.
A taxi is 6 euro each way, so very reasonable.
I enjoyed my holiday immensely and plan to return very soon.
One tip for people needing internet access, avoid the "Sunrise" net cafe on the beach, instead try the little net cafe opposite the "Cockney Cafe". Most people can direct you to the "Cockney cafe" as it is very well known among the UK tourists.

Advice: Traditional Greek Village .Very quiet night life. Good choice of Restaurants and a shingle beach.
