We had a good time on Rhodes, the island is a little rundown the Euro has not been good for it. We stayed at the Memphis Beach Hotel (family run), through Greecos Holidays Poland it was ok they could have dune better. The staff were helpful there were some of them that could have been better but others were really nice, with good food and plenty of it. The rooms were ok for two weeks in a year, some were up to a four star standard with TV, phone double bed and two single which made into a couch, bathrooms very good and five minutes walk to the bars and shops. The pools were very good and did not have a overdose of chemicals so it was great to swim in, it would have been nice if we could swim a bit latter than 7 pm but the owner liked to do his cleaning and that meant that pools were really good all day.
It is worth going all over the island you can rent cars, scooters, quads, motor bikes and get a good deal if you ask. They are making improvements all the time.
