After some confusion over booking at Lourdata instead of Lassi we arrived at the Marinos apartments at around 22.30.
Marinos kindly took our bags to the apartment for us and during the holiday he and Stellios were brilliant and could not do enough to make you welcome.
We had No.2 apartment which had a large balcony overlooking the pool, a large bedroom with 2 single beds put together to make a double, a moderate size kithen with sufficient utensils and a bathroom with hand basin, toilet and shower the only drawback with the shower being the lack of a curtain which made all the floor wet and resulted in my Wife falling, without any serious injury.
The complex has a pool which is kept in pristine condition and bar come restaurant which are reasonable priced. There is no difficulty in obtaining a sun bed with an umbrella.
and all the people staying were British and easy to get on with and although there were plenty of children they were all very well behaved and respected your privacy.
Bars, restaurants and shops are all within a 10 min walk and it is well worth hiring a car for a couple of days to see this beautiful island where the people are so friendly and helpful.
Although the temperature was fairly high it was countered by a moderate breeze which made it not uncomfortable.
Would I go again ? - most certainly.

Had 2 fabulous weeks at the Marinos Apartments in Lassi. On arrival, we were met by staff who greeted us with friendly smiles that didn't stop all holiday. Fabulous people who made our holiday a really relaxing one with their friendliness and helpfulness. My partner and I had a two bedroomed apartment which was clean and well equipped. The maid cleaned six days out of seven but even on the seventh day, the bins were emptied. The pool area was clean and had plenty of sunbeds,the pool water was just right! Yannis and his staff worked hard everyday to ensure the environment was a pleasant one and they certainly achieved that. My partner and I have no hesitation in recommending these apartments for a stay in Lassi, they are just a short walk from the beach and all that Lassi has to offer. Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia is just a leisurely 20 mins walk for a different night out. Good food, wine and lovely Greek People, that was our experience. Efharisto!

Our first visit to Kefalonia and we were very impressed. The apartments were well presented and a little welcome pack of soft drinks and beers was a nice surprise. The completion of the swimming pool for next season will be the icing on the cake. The apartments are on the southern (quieter) end of the Lassi "strip" with no shortage for of restaurants and tavernas for all. The Makris Galios (long) beach is just over the road and down a gentle slope. Already making arrangements for next year. Neil and the gang.
