Turkey is becoming a more and more popular holiday destination. Described as the ‘crossroads of Europe and Asia'. Turkey lies across the two continents and is now easily accessible to the independent traveller with airlines such as Turkish Airlines(THY), Ageanflights, JMC, Britannia and My Travel flying direct to Bodrum which is very unique city of Turkey. The Agean coast of Turkey is renowned for its golden, sandy beaches and lively resorts such as Bodrum and Gumbet, whereas vibrant Istanbul in the North is comprised of modern hotels and shopping centres built alongside decorative mosques and historical churches.Turkey has everything from watersports and ski-ing to river cruises and nightlife.
LOCATION of AEGEAN GATE HOTEL
Bodrum's smallest boutique hotel Aegean Gate Hotel set in unique natural grounds. Within easy access to Bodrum centre but far enough away from the bustling nightlife of Bodrum for a peaceful nights sleep. Located about 15 minutes walk from the castle and 5 minutes walk from shops and restaurants. Luckily best night clup In Turkey is 5 minutes walk away (must visit Halikarnas Disco!)
MANAGEMENT
Irish owners/ English speaking ensure European standards. Very helpfull and friendly. Quick reply to questıons and reservations. Reasonable prices for different seasons.
ROOMS
6 rooms with large balcony overlooking the pool, the Aegean sea to the Greek island of Kos. Formal décoration and hugely comfortable, with all the features you’d expect; a sitting area with a couple of sofas,coffee table, tv, fridge , kettle, glasses, cups, teabags, coffees, seperate bedroom(twın or double bed), bedside tables,lamps, wardrope (extra blankets, hangers ın) and bathroom with shower 7/24 hour-hot water. Split air conditioning and ceiling fan.
FOOD
Breakfasts of musili and yoghurt or Toast and scarmbled eggs, with butter,jam spredable cheese, yellow cheese and fruit plates.

Website is very useful to learn before hand to go there. Rory and Gary spoil you like a friend rather than manager of the hotel. Breakfast ıs not self-service! you prefer what would you like to eat; no queue no rush and very quick service by Rory and Gary. Briefly ; Great opportunıty to discover Bodrum, taste Turkish or İnternatıonal dishes, relax by The Aegean sea or lovely pool, enjoy the sunshine on soft sunbeds (around pool or very private terrace). You would like to stay more and hate the reality of saying good-by to Aegean Gate Hotel/Bodrum/Turkey .
