Calabay Park at Tower Lake

Our stay at Little Mermaid villa was 1st Class and the help from Julie from the initial booking was very professional.
Little Mermaid villa was breathtaking from the minute you walked through the front door.
We had to tear ourselves away especially from the pool to get some sightseeing in.
Quality 5 star, and immaculately kept.
Julie actually took the trouble to ring us while we were there to see if everything was ok. Also had a visit from her manager there to check if everything was going ok.
We would not hesitate to book Little Mermaid again and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Wish we were there now!

Last year after searching through many websites we came across this one..giving good honest reviews on the villas available..as novices we were waiting to take the plunge and enquire about a few places but for some reason this villa had a good feel to it.
We saw the reviews and visited their website then phoned them. This was end of November 2010 and we emailed them for details of rental and actually what they had in the villa.
We received an email back from John within 15 minutes telling us that at that present time they were in Universal Studios..and it was 95 degrees..which was quite weird as we were going into our cold snap over here in the UK!! We were sent an email giving rental rates plus details of pool heating if required plus information on what the villa had to offer.
After firing millions of questions at them..they replied to all of them without any problem..we booked for 16 nights. John was able to give us advice on where to book everything from carhire to park tickets. We even told him we didnt know where to visit first and that parks were not the only thing we wanted to see and he took time to go through ideas with us..telling us about his trips to clearwater fishing and his days spent at the lake...on the underatanding he took his family shopping in the evening.
On arrival at the villa we were totally taken aback..it was like something we had not imagined. We opened the patio doors to the pool and spa and my 9 year old son jumped in the pool fully clothed claiming it was lovely and warm...the bedrooms were spacious and the beds so comfy..we had two massive beds with two twin bedded rooms ..and to have two ensuites was luxury as we had one to ourselves, the girls had their own bathroom and the two boys shared a bathroom also..so there was no fighting about showers, loos or messy bathrooms..they kept the rooms spotless as they enjoyed having their own space so much. The pool was lovely about 30 foot long with a spa and there were plenty of beds and space to chill out. We would sit of a morning on the pool area and watch the sun come up..then enjoy the sun all day as the pool area is south facing.
We were also impressed by the management company who called us the day after arrival to see if all was ok..then later on we received a call from John to ask if all was ok...we felt we were really looked after!!
We went down the lake a few times and fished with John's rods and ate out at Manny's [as John had said you had to go to Manny's] the children ate free!!!
Driving was so easy and we did Disney in just under twenty minutes and Seaworld in just 25 minutes..to the gates. Traffic was very easy to cope with and we even made it to clearwater for the day.
Every room has a television/DVD fitted wardrobes and there are ample towles to use while staying there. The kitchen is so much nicer than the photographs and the lounge was just..relaxing with tv and two sofas and armchair...we sat there sometimes just looking out on the pool at the children swimming!!
On ending this review i felt because of this website we enjoyed a fantastic holiday and want to thank others who placed reviews for sharing their experiences as this villa made the holiday.
Little Meraid Villa is an excellent choice of place to stay, central for everywhere..plus a relaxing place to go home to. We have told al our firends about the level of service we received and wanted to pass on our experience for all to see.
All the pictures and video tour of this villa are very nice but I have to say when we got there we felt the pictures and tour simply do not do this villa justice..it is simply a lovely place to stay.
We will be returning again in 2013 for 21 nights as there is still so much to do and see.
They say a holiday is what you make it. We noticed our children did not have one fall out on this holiday, we had a stress free stay and on finishing this review We all agreed that this vill ahelped to make it the holiday we will remember for a long time to come.
I recommend this Villa and give it ten stars plus!!!

We have stayed in holiday villas in Florida before this is one of the best we have stayed in. There is everything in the villa you could need for a family and small children (including babies). The rooms are all a good size and the covered area beside the pool was fantasic as it was very hot when we stayed in june 2011 so you can be outside enjoying your meals while sitting in the shade with the breeze of a ceiling fan.
The standard of the decor, furniture and fittings in the kitchen are of a very high standard. The garage games room with Pool table, darts, basket ball net was great fun for the family.
We took our Son and Daughter in law and grandson 15mths and duaghter it was the perfect place to stay for a family holiday very quite area nice lawned area behind the pool.
The area is nice and there are good local shops (Walmart etc) and resturants. The only slight issue would be it is 30 mins to the main attractions.
Only 60 mins to ether Clearwater and Coco Beach we did both but would recommend clearwater as it is a much nicer beach and area.
The cool box and beach chairs supplied in the villa were a godsend on trips to the beach as the prices to hire are expensive.

Julie was happy to talk at any time and gave some good advise on where to eat and where to shop.
We would recommend this villa to anyone on a family holiday.

We have stayed in this villa twice now and would highly recommend it. It is on a very safe gated community and in a quiet area. It is very spacious and fully equipped. The pool is very clean and not overlooked which is very important to us. It is within easy reach of Disney and other attractions and supermarkets are just a short drive away. We have stayed in several villas over the years and this one is easily the best.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa in Feb 2010. It was extremely clean and comfortable and well equiped. Julie was very helpful before our trip and during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend it and hope to visit again in the future.

First time holiday for us in Orlando, we are family of 4 from Lancashire,
kids - 2 lads aged 13 and 17. Arrived at Orlando Int airport and we were bit
nervous about driving and finding the actual villa but the villa owner Julie
had sent us directions which were brilliant, my husband soon got used to the
automatic car and we actually found the roads quite easy to follow as they
are very well sign-posted and we arrived at the villa no problems finding it
at all. When we walked into the villa we were amazed it was so large and
spacious couldn’t fault it, the pool is superb and the kids enjoyed the
games room in the garage. It was brilliant that the lads had their own
space, TVs and bathrooms so we all had some privacy which was good. There is
everything you could possibly need at the villa Julie the owner rang us to
check all was ok with the villa the day after our arrival. The villa is in
an excellent location, Walmart 2 mins down the road and southern dunes golf
course within minutes away, lads enjoyed 2 rounds of golf hiring golf buggy
and clubs they thought it was great. My husband and the lads enjoyed fishing
off the large lake there is a wooden jetty there that you can fish off,
there are rods that you can use in the villa, they bought fishing baits and
bits and pieces of fishing stuff from Walmart which was dead handy and they
had a prize catch of a large bass. We found driving to the Disney parks easy
as all off the Interstate 4 which is easy to get to from the villa. We had a
great time did all the parks and swam with the dolphins at discovery cove
not to be missed, we had some excellent meals during out stay, we loved the
Italian Olive Gardens Restaurant which is located on the 192 and we loved
Mannies just up the road past Walmart. Had a fantastic holiday would
definitely recommend this villa to anyone and we are now saving up hopefully
to go back in 2011 - wish we could go back sooner!

We also stayed at Little Mermaid Villa and like the previous reviewers the help and guidance we received from the owners was superb, they even went to the trouble putting an extra lock on the door to make the property more secure for our autistic son, who is a bit of an escape artist. The kids had a great time, we did too, villa was spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs. Highly recommended.

We avtually visited this site and came across the details of this villa so we thought we would give it a try.
A really nice location set in a gated well kept community of mainly private owned villas..by that I mean mainly rented out to holiday makers.
We found the villa spotlesly vlean with lots of vlean towels, lots of clean bedding and we simply cannot falut the place. WE were up early of a morning for the parks but enjoyed sitting by the pool with th e sun rising to the right of us, then when we returned of an evening the sun would go down to the left of us while we swam int he heated pool. To say it was superb was putting it midly.
The villa owners were very helpful as were the management company and we recommend the villa toe veryone.
WE will be looking to return one day soon and hope that the second time will be as good as the first visit.
10 out of ten....no I give the service we received form these guys and the location of the villa 20 out of twenty.

Calabay PArk @ Tower Lake is the sister community to Calabay Park. A new gated community it offers the holiday maker a relaxing tranquil holiday where guests can fish at the lake ..take a lovely stroll down to the lakeside to enjoy the stunning sunset.
The community is ideally located ..15 = 20 minutes from Disney 25 from I Drive and the universal/Seaworld Parks.
The beauty of the community is that road access is fantastic..out of the airport, straight onto the Interstat four, off and Junction 55 and 7 minutes later you are pulling up at the electronic gates.
shops are two minutes away [walmart] and you have the new posner park on the way down tot he interstat four..take lots of money.
The community is spotless..gardens well kept the villas maintained to a very high standard and the villa owners d their best to help make yr holiday a very special one

We stayed on Calabay Park @ Tower Lake last September [littlemermaidvilla] and are looking to go back later this year hopefuly to the same villa which we see is actually listed here by two other people who have stayed there. We actually reflect the findings of the two other guests and can speak only highly of the villa and its owners.Also of the commnity itself..absolutely stunning!
What does concern me is the comment made that a villa was dirty etc and too far from the parks. i have to disagree with this as i have previously stayed on the 192 and surrounding areas and found the transport links very congested when all the villa occupiers were making their way to various parks at the same time of the day ie: 192 was a carpark for over 40 minutes several mornings whereas the I4 was lovely and easy..no trafficjams or queues to be found...straight ono the I4[seven minutes], off at the Disney Junction and at the Disney gates just 10 minutes later
My suggestion to those looking at this site [and an excellent site it is]should actually book their villas independantly of their flights as you are then dealing with the owners direct who want to make your stay one that will make you want to return agian and again..this being our overwhelming decision to book again and hopefully stay int he same villa.
Travel companies such as Travel City etc are looking at profit not at the cleanliness of the villas they use and quite honestly will not be interested inany complaint you have as they only have the pounds signs in their eyes!
So my advice to Mr Boldy is do not let a bad experience like the one you have had put you off staying at Tower Lake but instead book your villa direct with the villa owner. you could have saved this upset bybooking direct with the villa owner who actually puts alot of effort into their "product". Travel City as i say are not interested in the individual but the moey they actually collect from renting the villa out!
Please note all those reading this forum/report Tower Lake is genuinely a lovely place to stay and only 20 minutes from the parks. We will definately be going back there this year and feel we will be treated like royalty again by the villa owner.
Location Excellent, Roads Excellent,Villa Fantastic, Managament Contact : first day of holiday to make sure we were okay, Villas Owner Contactt: From booking, to arrival, to speaking to us and returning bond within two weeks of arriving back in the UK
Value for money: eight guests in our party at £475 per week with pool and games room..well worth the money
