A lovely large room with balcony & good mountain views. 2 comfortable chairs and a desk and chair. Better than any hotel rooms we've previously stayed in. See the pension website for photos. A special treat was having opening windows in the well equipped toilet & bathroom! Not available in all rooms.
Austrian buffet breakfast with good choice including eggs. We felt very pampered as nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. 48 channel TV including several in English. Facilities for wet/snowy hiking/sking gear.
We loved Lech and its surroundings, such a variety of things to do and places to go. A wide range of walks, from gentle riverside strolls to energetic mountain hikes available at the end of free cable car or bus rides. Resturant staff were friendly & tolerant of our lack of language skills and the food was good as well! 2 course meals plus a drink cost on average 25 Euros each.

The beds where comfortable. The place is boring for the younger generation. Its at least a 20 minute walk up hill to the slopes or a bus service which only comes every hour. The family are quite annoying they follow you round and they lack resort information. The hotel is VERY dated, nothing to do so in the evening its awful and you just want to get home!!!!! I would DEFINATELY not stay at this hotel. We stayed on B&B basis and in the morning all you are offered is an EGG and thats it. If you dont like egg every single morning then you dont have breakfast which resulted in us eating elsewhere which was difficult with the limited places open and obviously worked out very expensive. I would not reccommend anyone stayin at this hotel ecspecially if you are below 50. Nothing to do at all. No tv's in the room and its very very awful rooms.
Im not usually this negative but its the worst hotel iv ever stayed at.

The Pension Edelweiss was a beautiful hotel situated near the town centre and the famous sports bar named the whisky mhule. It took us a brisk 5 minute walk to the slopes which was ideal.
The rooms were spacious and the balcony view was amazing, overlooking the austrian mountains. The hotel was clean and friendly. The family made us feel at home and the breakfast was more than enough.
The slopes are challenging for beginners, however if you are a quick learner, you will most likely be on reds by the end of the week.
I would recommend the Pension Edelweiss to anyone who wants a warm, comforting room to stay in, with an idyllic view.

The Pension Edelweiss was absolutely fabulous. Clean, welcoming and homely. The Harrasser Family were really nice and friendly. Our rooms were spacious and the balcony view was amazing, overlooking the mountains. Perfect location to the ski lifts and town centre. I would definately recommend this hotel as it made our stay worthwhile.

Just got back from our week in Soll after enjoying an excellent stay at the Pension Edelweiss.
The family were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home. The place was spotless and is well looked after.
Breakfast was more than adequate and kept us skiing for the day!
Location was great, just 2 minutes from the town centre and not far at all from the famous Whiskey Mhule.
A great base, for a great price in a great location - we will be booking again for next season!!

My husband and I have skied in various resorts in europe and always come back to soll. The Eidelweiss is one of the friendliest pensions we have stayed in and yes it may not have the facilities of a hotel but it is more than adequate in the breakfast department and spotlessly clean.Lovely airy rooms with a view and Family Harrasser go out of their way to make you welcome even down to organising a birthday suprise for my husband.
It is a 10 minute walk to the gondola and 5 to the town centre so not too noisy in the early hours!Although the town is small it has the most amazing bars and restraunts with a great range of prices to suit anyones wallet.
we look forward to our next visit in Feb 2011
