We are just back from Sunny Beach in Bulgaria and I have to say we enjoyed it immensely. The hotel we stayed has an option for b&b or self catering and as we had a small child with us we opted for self catering. The apartments were very high standard, the pull out bed would sleep 2 children comfortably and the bedroom had two beds together which gave plenty of room. The rooms were cleaned daily and linen and towels every other day. All applicances e.g kettle, microwave etc provided. Staff are very friendly are the bar stays open 24hours.
The location if very quiet and by the pool you would be looking directly at the Victoria Palace. The gravy train stops across the road at the Marvel and it drops you right into the centre in about 10 mins. The centre is very busy with so much happening. Food is lovely but then we went for busy resturants only. Be careful of the taxi drivers as we heard alot of people getting ripped off by them. One couple with us forgot to ask the price and were charge 84lev for a 20lev trip. The max you should pay is 20lev. You can use your bank card and prices in comparision to Ireland are very very cheap.

Just got back from a weeks holiday with my son and my parents. It was the best holiday I have been on in a long time, the food was cheap and lovely a breakfast £4.00, Julie and Chris in the restaurant where brilliant. The drinks where cheap also, the shops was open 24 hrs a day, the only negative would be reception staff did not speak very good english.
The rooms where clean and modern with air con and tv with a few english channels, the maids made the bed daily. We had a pool view room and never had a problem with noise from the bar and was on the 3rd floor,
The pools were clean and my son spent 8 hrs a day in the kids pool. You did have to get up early to get a sunbed but on holiday their is no problem getting up at 8am to sunbath. The area is nice (posh end) only a 5 min walk to the beach promenade where there are shops, bars and restaurants. The food in the local restaurants is also cheap and we eat at a different place every night and not one single complaint.
The hotel did have a few groups of males and females they didn't surface till mid afternoon and was never any trouble the sunbathed on grass and went in pool but this was never a issue.
Would recommend to anyone looking to go a good place to stay.
