Elizabeth Apartments

Just got back from spending 2 weeks at the appartments from hell.The rooms were very basic,beds hard,cleaning non existant,I dropped a piece of paper under bed on the first night,it was still there 2 weeks later !!
Staff very rude and dissinterested if you did`nt drink at their bar.
The worst thing was the noise of the bar,basic entertainments started at 10 pm and did`nt finish until the last drunken guest left usually about 1am,no concoderation was given to the other guests as long as they were selling their drink !!
The worst was yet to come,due to the unclean rooms both my wife and I were ` Eaten ¬ alive by the tiny ants which were living in our room.
I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy

This was one of the worst holidays ever, the rooms were very basic when you finally managed to get into them, the staff asleep when we arrived. Some staff nice and polite but very hostile towards you if you have too much fun for not spending in the bar. i would definately recommend Roda and if you have children Nemo bar is really good and fantastic hospitality but I would strongly recommend not staying at these apartments. You are unable to have water by the pool and staff are very rude if you do. Complained when I came home as no entertainment even though advertised in brochure and something I looked for first when booking. The cleaner is lovely and has a hard job, but towels are not provided as advised and neither are blankets, we didn't even get a cot. Would recommend First choice as rep fantastic and sorts things out, just definately not this site, as they are not vey child friendly which suprised me

I know we have not got to july yet, but i know what and where we are going, as we have for the past 7 or 8 yrs.you will not find a more fab. place or family.the total holiday in roda and the elizabeth apts is so relaxing, so anyone wondering about going go, and take no notice of the sad people who dont like this place try for yourselves and just tell me u dont like it. hundreds that go back year after year cant be wrong.

Couldnt fault the pool & surrounding gardens. Made lots of friends who had been coming to Roda for many years. They had all stayed at the Elizabeth studios in the past but only the once. They now book other local apartments which are cleaner & better serviced but use the facilities at Elizabeth. I stayed in room 14 with my wife & two daughters (01/08/2008 – 15/08/2008) The room had not been cleaned properly for months there were layers of thick dust under the beds. The bathroom was filthy the shower curtain was black with mould & the shower mat an absolute health hazard we had to chuck it in the corner & put up with the hazard of a slippery floor. We had to buy our own toilet roll (1st time in 25 years travelling abroad) The towels that were provided were rags & covered in stains, they were supposed to be changed twice a week but were only changed 3 times in 14 days. The sheets were supposed to be changed once a week but it took 10 days to get ours changed after complaining to the rep who told me “oh well thats Corfu for you, its my day off tomorrow let me know if theyre not changed by Monday”. We got back on Monday after a day out to find nothing had been done. This led to an argument as the owners mother & the maid who swore blind they had been changed on the Friday before. We were within 15 minutes of leaving the place if they didn’t get on & change them, this seemed to resolve the situation. By the way my wife was in tears at this point. The maids idea of servicing the room was to pull the top cover up on the bed leaving the sheets all screwed up underneath & empty the bins. This took a maximum of ten minutes. The maid service was supposed to be 5 days a week but was only four. The rooms were never swept out this had to be done by ourselves. The kitchen was filthy with dirty cutlery & crockery all put back in the cupboard by the previous occupants & left unchecked by the maid. There was food left behind the microwave/cooker, hard to believe really. The fridge thermostat was set to number one with a warning notice not to alter it, this setting was not cold enough to be able to keep anything so I turned it up to number 4. Everytime the maid came in the room she turned it back down to number 1 causing the fridge to defrost leaving a huge pool of water for us to clear up all over the kitchen floor. In summary the worst apartments I have ever stayed in.
