Bad Holidays

Nov 2011, louise

Travelled October 2011 for 1 week
Do not go there first impression of village was very good. Nearly all holiday people at the hotel were very ill with food poisoning myself included, this was confirmed by my doctor on my return which required very strong antibiotics.
Very hard to get in touch with First Choice to report it as they do not make it easy to contact them.

hotel has two areas i was in tamlett the worst of the two. no hot water, dirty sheets, door wouldnt open properly. staff greet only families and ignore others. food was bearable. only two pools were working. bar was long queus unless you tip them. private beach area but was 9min walk away from hotel! also tour guides and alot of sellers harass you near the area not nice. no real manager at hotel they dont care. saw 1 cockroach in kitchen area decided not to eat again from hotel spentg most time away from hotel, normally go to 3 star hotels am very upset to find this one disgusting!animation team talk to who they want to only and staff in general prefer families only so if you have kids go there if not do not go there trust me.

Arrived 19th July 2010 for a two week family holiday. First impression of the room was not enough cupboard space but this was hardly an issue to make a deal out of so just made do. Food was not great but I am a picky eater, my husband however who is not, agreed with me. Same thing every day for 14 nights only thing that changed was the calvery, which alternated between, turkey, beef or pork. The lifeguard, agreed with our views !!! Rooms were kept clean daily. Clean towels every day and clothes folded, needless to say our little cleaner had a massive tip. Trips Limited and Entertainment not great but again all credit to the Anmiation team for their long hours and effort. Horrible sight to see was the poor cats around the complex that were obviously starving. Most people were feeding them but one day a member of staff came around and bundled up kittens in a bag and took them off. Children were screaming. Apparently this gets done once a month when overrun with kittens - the RSPCA needs to be informed. Obviously there was an uproar in the British camp with this barbaric action but other nationalities did not batter an eyelid.
Overall would not go to Morocco again, been and done it and got the t-shirt !!

I went to morocco in may 2009, and iv got to say it was the best holiday iv been o so far! And iv been on alot of holidays like jamaica, lanzorote, south of france, spain ect.
the staff am very friendly and fun. i found it easy to make friends, and the best thing was it was a 4 minute walk from the beach. The resort has four pools which have different popularities. The room was OK but you am hardly ever in it so that doesnt matter! Finally the food it lush :) YOU SHOULD GO ON HOLIDAY HERE! ♥

We booked this holiday on a fairly last min whim...normally we plan ahead and do our research! However, we (2 adults 2 boys 7 & 13) had an absolute wonderful 2 weeks! We like the All Inclusive deals as the boys can literally drink and eat their own body weight in soft drinks, ice-cream and pizza!! It was slightly disappointing to see Ice cream wasn't included; however it was very cheap to buy. The food was as you expect...buffet style 'international' type cuisine. Everyone was happy! The staff bend over backwards to help and make your stay a pleasure, Everyone from the waiters, bar staff and gardeners! (look out for the Toads and Tortoises!!)
The boys were entertained each evening with the Animation team (although we did our best to make our excuses not to watch the 'shows'!!!! definitely one for the kids) The day time could be spent either by one of the quieter areas and pools or by the main pool where your were encouraged to join in with the daytime activities!! Personally, I was happy with my book, iPod and sunglasses! The beach is a short walk, across a very busy main road. Worth a trip to the local souk (market) and an evening stroll down the prom to see the locals at night!
All in all...... a very enjoyable holiday and for what we paid...good value!
Forgot to say…our room didn’t have Air con…didn’t bother us, however it could pose a problem later in the season!

We stayed here for a fortnight and had a wonderful time. Weather was high in the 30's and the heat could be a little too much at times. Plenty of swimming pools to pick from, all with a seperate bar. Sun beds were limited, so grab one early if your planning on staying round the pool all day. Rooms were great, plenty of storage space, seperate bathroom and toilet, so handy when you have teenagers hogging the shower. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard daily and towels were also changed on a daily basis. Food was ok. Always hot and fresh, but unless you love tarjeens, its a bit limited. Pizza bar is great. Ate during the day here. Choice of a la carte restaurants if you get fed up with the buffet one. Morroccan restaurant was probably the best. Staff are fantastic. Very friendly and always willing to help. All in all, the complex was spotless, well run and very friendly. Would recommend this hotel without a doubt.

We had a fantastic holiday at the carribean holiday villagr ,I would recomend this complect to anyone of any age.The animation team were exellant .memo, cha cha, packa, are a great laugh .We all did not want to go home .On an evening the shows that the team put on were fun. There were an excrllant choice of food in the resturant. The only problem was we throught that you should be able to get bottled water all day not just between 7 to 12 on an evening and the other times out of the machines .The snack bar i think should of been open in an evening as well.We have already booked for next year and are taking a large group of friends with us as we had a great time .last year there was seven of us. The views from our room was great. We diid very little outside the complects as the kids just did not want to leave. The dances around the pool are great fun with all the team, each one of the 25 make you feel welcome. The maids can't do enough for you, the rooms are kept very clean.looking forward to next year.
