What a holiday! Fiesta Sahara is...

What a holiday! Fiesta Sahara is excellent, full of friendly people and helpful staff (we loved the cleaner!) Although we didn’t overlook the pool, the shouting to each other at the back of the hotel was good fun and an easy way to make friends! If you leave your door open you are also sure to get some visitors passing by while you play music and drink before a night out. The Sahara is in a good location as it's not too close to the strip to be too loud but close enough that it only takes you 5 minutes to get home. It's really close to BCM too, a great club, highly recommended. When we were there we just missed the radio one weekend but Dave Pierce, Judge Jules, Westwood, DJ Sammy and Fatman Scoop were just some of the names that we saw. A good tip is to tell the PR person its your birthday cos then you will get in free! Another tip is don’t miss out on the free stuff which is worth the 23 euros alone, pay before 12! and make the most of the free bar of course! Another sure-fire good night out is Tokio Joes and you will undoubtedly see the same faces in there for the whole 2 weeks because it’s such a laugh! (hot guys too) Boomerang is also great fun with great 2-4-1 offers on sex on the beach and also Pat Sharp DJing every Saturday night! Ikon next to Boomerang give out free sex on the beach too if you get the right PR, failing that its only 1 euro! There are good deals to be had everywhere and you will soon tire of hearing 2-4-1 free jug of cocktail and a **** everywhere you go! the PRs are on repeat I think but you could always say its your birthday again and get loads more free stuff. Alternate between yourselves and have a birthday each! Another thing is that if you 'get lucky' I wouldn’t advise going to the beach as its full of people from about 4am - 8am and also security guards who don’t take kindly to naked English people! And only go skinny dipping when its dark so you can hide from the security lights, but make sure your clothes are safe or someone will run off with them!

Absolutely top notch! Great holiday,...

Jul 2005, Mr D Gibson

Absolutely top notch! Great holiday, two weeks isn’t long enough! Fiesta Sahara is a great hotel, simple but spot on. We stayed in room 533 which doesn’t overlook the pool but the other side where there is just an alleyway of bins but shouting to the neighbours was a laugh and everyone joined in.
Just as you approach reception, there’s a lovely, large pond full of fish, tadpoles, and a tortoise. Try and refrain from jumping in it after a heavy nights drinking as you will be arrested by the security guards and be severely intimidated by the angry hotel manager! Grown men will be seen crying emerging from the 'cell' in reception!! As for the bars, which one to go in next??
There’s a top place to start the evening off at called 'Jokers'. The waiter 'Danny-boy' is a laugh. Also, 'Windsors' is a nice bar, Scottish-owned and all the staff are really friendly, especially Dave (he’s from Manchester) BCM is supposedly one of the biggest clubs in Europe and I suggest going! 23 euros to get in (£16) and you get a free t-shirt, hat, and much more, and more importantly......ALL YOU CAN DRINK!!!!!
Its open til 6am and then you can move on to the 24hr Bar which is only open for 22hrs really!!
Once again, the fiesta Sahara is the place to be and watch out for Steven Segal the security guard!!

First off Palma has one hell of an...

May 2005, M + M +J Garsidex2 Waughx1

First off Palma has one hell of an airport!!! As avid fans of Ibiza this was our first holiday at another destination. First impressions of the aparthotel were very good. The welcome meeting on our first morning was very informative, they told us about the do's and dont's of the island especially the gypsy’s although we weren’t bothered by them.
The pool was amazing, wonderful scenery including palm trees and a bridge making your swim a very enjoyable one. Life guards were there from eight am until six pm although one liked to have a tab and leave the poolside!
The kid’s entertainers were available day in day out, Leona and the twelve year old at heart Jamie along with Sarah and Craig. BINGO every evening but don’t worry if your a pen short for Leona will sell you one for a small charge of "turty cents" (you'll know what we mean if you go!) Also kids mini disco and family entertainment every night inc: hypnotists, comedians, puppets, kareoke and of course fiesta fun!
If you would like to eat out just remember the fast food rockers! A pizza hut, a pizza hut, Kentucky fried chicken and a pizza hut MCDONALDS MCDONALDS and I’m sure burger kings down the road! Only joking there are many places to eat our two favourites being The ladies Tavern and Tom Browns, Tom Browns have three locations The sea front, a sport bar and the original.
Pubs well were to start? The Magalluf show bar, where you will get fun and laughter every night but a warning if there is a man serving you behind the bar DONT GET A COCKTAIL un less you wish to become drunk very quickly. There are lot’s more bars you should try them all!!!
Pirates a world famous show is held just a little while away. I recommend you see it as it may be the time of your life ok so the food isn't that amazing but the show is one of the best around. Upon entry you will be introduced to your ships captain either: Sir Francis Drake, The evil Blackbeard Captain Barboser or Captain Scarlet. The show will match everyone’s likings as it contains comedy, music, dance, acrobats and has a quite catching story to! I guarantee that by the end of the night you will be on your feet clapping until your hands become red raw!!!
Golf Fantasia is another great day out with four eighteen hole courses you'll never get bored. Play this amazing golf with the blazing Magalluf sun beaming down onto your back!
The island has two water parks aqua land and the western water park the western being the best by far.
There is lots more to do as you will discover the beach is amazing and the boat trips are another thing to see!! We’ll let you be the judge of how good they are!!
Going back next year and we can’t wait. Enjoy your holiday, I know we did!!!!

We had to change rooms when we first...
5 / 10
Mar 2005, Miss H Shilton

We had to change rooms when we first got there because our room had graffiti everywhere and overlooked an alley. The apartment walls are very thin and you can hear every time someone moves. Especially at 4 in the morning when everyone is getting in!
The maids only came once while we were there and the room got very dusty and very hot as the central heating was on all day but not on at night when it got cold! We also had lots of ants in our bathroom, which no matter how many times we cleaned up - they kept coming back! Must be getting in through a vent
The entertainment was bingo every night and mainly children’s shows and quizzes which were not our thing so we went to jokers around the corner which had live shows every night!
The location is great = you have Benny hills on the corner which is great and Tommy browns over the road which you should go to for the best English grub (they also have a place on the sea front - and the staff are fit!) Because we went in March = most of the places were shut but there was plenty to do.

When first arriving to the fiesta...
7 / 10
Jul 2004, samantha

When first arriving to the fiesta apartments I as not to impressed because on the recent holidays I was on the apartments seemed much nicer. But once I went to the poolside the next morning I thought that it was great and could not complain,
Around the pool there were a lot of young people who you knew where there for a laugh there were groups of lads on stag holidays and many other young people who you knew where there to enjoy themselves.
Then it got even better when you hit the night clubs BCMs foam party was great although I thought I was going to die when the foam came out, was rite underneath the foam machine, next thing I was covered in foam with hundreds of people around me I couldn’t move, see of breath, lost my sandals within 2 sacs. One tip for you if u plan to go there DO NOT STAND DIRECTLY BELOW THE FOAM MACHINE! Honestly it was terrible! Apart from that It was great an especially the dancers!
The whole holiday was mad and there was a lot of drinking done I don’t think I could have stuck it 4 2 weeks I would have came home in a body bag! Ha ha! Not much sleep done either was getting home about 8am and then up an out about 10.30 4 a cure, not much point sleeping on your holiday!
So all an all magalluf was great and so was fiesta Sahara it quite central to everywhere (BCM). One thing I didn’t like about the apartments was the beds were like rocks and the male holiday rep was a pervert! Haha he’ll not like that! Another thing is that you must always lock your patio doors people can climb in through your balcony, a few people at the apartments told me that that happened to them. Anyway try it out I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!

The Hotel was good, Great Pool, Great...
6 / 10
Jul 2004, Mr L Martin

The Hotel was good, Great Pool, Great bar by the Great Pool, and enough pool tables to let you chill out with your mates all through the day. Some very nice young ladies sunbathing by the pool, and I regretted not chatting to some specific ones! The room was clean and tidy, until we got there anyway, but it was just way too small for four lads! In addition, it got really hot during the day, and even though the fans on the ceiling helped, they just did not stop the sweat pouring off us. The main problem was that there were just too many guys out there, although that wasn’t the Hotel’s fault, and way too many Scots out there too (sorry Jocks), but there were a handful of Scots out there that woke us up at 7am by smashing glass bottles up down the corridor, and then throwing their chairs and tables off of the balcony! Ha Ha!
Nightlife was good, but as I said, just too many blokes out there. Favourite was probably BCM, for the first 2 nights anyway, coz it got boring afterwards, especially when they played that bloody 'Bang on the Drum' tune!!!
The bird in Panama Jacks who brought round those Jelly Shots was gorgeous, and had a great pair of legs!
Overall, though, I wanted to come home after day 11, and was constantly bored of going to BCMs and Tokio Joe’s!! (My mates loved Tokio Joe’s!!)
I would recommend Magaluf for the experience, coz you have to go at some point, but I have been now, and I do not think I will be going back.

FANTASTIC! doggings number one spot...

Jul 2004, Not Specified

FANTASTIC! doggings number one spot in Spain!! using the in room telephones and room lights :) great place to meet fit women and have a great holiday with your mates. Not sure about the hotel entertainment though, ROD STEWART!!
Just make sure you lock everything you want to keep in your safety deposit box as the cleaners will "throw away" anything they come across i.e. 5 drinking bongs, 1 picture from pirates, 2 swords from pirates, plastic kings crown and 110 EUROS!!! One place that is a must to visit is: The Kings Arms, where they class a double measure as 1/2 a pint of vodka :)
Just over the road from The Kings Arms is FUNKY MONKEYS! This is a great place to buy a funky monkeys T- shirt and dance like a T**t in front of a DJ that hates Leicester lads. The hidden jewel in the island though is a great little bar called "MANO'S PLACE" the only place to be in Magalluf.
A great place to eat out only a stones throw away from the fiesta Sahara is: LADY TAVERNS, where you will discover if you are a real man by trying to finish the Lady Taverns special (151). same for me and a orange juice as well!
The Fiesta Sahara has a fantastic swimming pool which looks great when you wake up in the afternoon, unless your on the opposite side of the hotel where you get to see a delightful ally way full of bins and toilet roll!!
The hotel room is a cheap place to start the nights drinking before moving on to the banging hotel bar :0. the rooms and hotel are very clean and this is a great hotel to stay in if your looking for a great time. Watch out for Steven Segal (the security guard)...................................be warned!!
