Park Hotel

Me and my boyfriend went here this year at end of the season. In general the hotel was very clean, the rooms where nice but the best thing about the hotel was the bright blue light around our celling, And the nicest members of staff was the clears.
When we first arrived the receptionist was very rude to us and took our passports off us (which is usually standard) but when i asked for them back the next day she refused so i had to lie and demand to get my own passports back, they have no reason to keep them and haven't got it in writing.
The spa is over priced and not that great.
The pool looked very nice and around the pool was kept very clean but in the pool all the tiles were coming off and dirty around the edge.
We found other members of staff was very rude from the restaurant and bar.
They finished serving drinks at 11, later on in the night you could only get one drink which would take you forever lining up, the cocktails tasted disgusting and all the same, The larger was weak and the spirits were measured stupidly strong and when you had to much they would refuse to serve you. Even the soft drinks were vial. Also if the staff would lie and say they'd ran out of a certain drink when you asked for it.
The manager we found was constantly telling us off for having a laugh, considering its an 18-30 hotel on laganas strip he should of expected us but when a large group of polish came to our hotel making all kinds of noise to early our of the morning they let them do what they wanted.
The food was all the same and covered in salt, we ate out a lot and when we didn't all we ate was salad, chip and bread, we spent an additional £300 eating out on food plus the £450 we paid each to go there all-inclusive.
They holiday was generally very good because the people we meet, it was right on the strip with plenty of bars and restaurants and what we made of all the excursions but I would advise you do not go here.

From the onset this hotel was terrible. The staff are unhelpful, unfriendly and unhappy. The food is cheap rubbish, and the bar makes you queue for each drink like a child. If you want to relax and enjoy a holiday, don not go here unless you like chips.
Bring back Basil Faulty - all is forgiven!!!

held on as long as i could to book this holiday thinking the price would go down. it didnt in fact i got charged for a late booking anyway i had to be in zante to visit my daughter who is working there. i read the reviews and thought omg iam not telling my hubby about this hotel because he never even wanted to go to greece in the first place. well i can honestly say we had a ball the staff i must admit were dour faced but hey there at their work listening to people who only want to moan the food was c**p but u could always have a wee plate of chips and crusty breed. anyway iam glad the food was c**p cos i found sorrocos a wee cafe next to the hotel and me and hubby had a sunday roast and a breakfast on a few occasions yumm yumm the hotel is in a fantastic location the bar and shop owners r so friendly and the fish bowl which was included in our all inclusive was brill for people watching i must say i was dreading this holiday and it turned out to be one of the best i have had haste la vista baby

ust got back from greece. stayed in a so called 4 star hotel the majestic. paid £450 all inclusive an the food an drink on offer was very very dissapointing. many of the people staying there were goin out for meals. i cant begin to say how bad food was. also only 1 lager of choice. no shower curtain up an no plugs for the bath. i most certainly will not be goin back an wouldnt recomend stayin. no entertainment for kids either bare that in mind .

where to start:- the manager is a useless cretin, the staff are rude and very unhelpful, the spirits are watered down, the room was a mess and the bathroom mouldy, the food worse than crap,it was always cold and old(yesterdays left overs)DO NOT VISIT THIS HOTEL ITS A MESS. should be renamed fawlty towers

My new husband and i booked the majestic spa as our honeymoon, we are both outgoing and love karaoke so a bit of lively resort looked perfect. The hotel was dirty and on the day we arrived there was blood stains on our bath mat, hairs everywhere, no plug for a bath, no shower curtain, no shower hook to hang it and to top it all off we had to pay 35 euros for the air conditioning that went off when you went out as the key card cuts the electricity. Not a good start but we were determined to enjoy it. We then discovered that there is a night club owned by the same man of majestic on the porch of the hotel. It closes after 3 am every night and the noise was unbelievable. The hotel had a few families which i really felt sorry for because the rest of the hotel was full of younger adults 18-30 type of groups that only there for the drink and clubs. They were loud and aggressive every night and no one from the hotel ever approached them about their behaviour. It wasn't just the british quests, but a lot of Italians, French, Germans and Spanish. we complained several times only to be told its "Hotel policy". Dont be fooled by all inclusive because after 9pm you have to pay for your drinks. the food was repetative and we actually only ate there 4 times ending up spending near 500 euros on food. None of the food is labelled and it really is the same every night. The snacks available throughout the day consisted of oily chips and manky sausage rolls that are left uncovered everyday.
Right next to the hotel is a restaurant called Sirocca, the food is lovely in there and the people really friendly, the price is average but worthwhile.
if you book outside thomas cook or airtours its likely that you've booked with either teletext, hotels 4 u or yourholiday.com which is what we did. Please be careful as we never had a rep and our transfer was a random women who was really rude to us. In all honesty your only 15 mins from the ariport in Laganas so get a cab its only 12 euros and we had paid £40 for transfers so lost out really. The hotel on all website advertise entertainment, THERE WAS NONE!
Outside the hotel is a loud strip of bars, restaurants and at least 25 clubs all each competing for competition offering water down drinks as a bribe. We stayed away from the clubs and were made to feel at home in The Pink Panther bar and Relax bar offering Karaoke and fun every night. The strip of road outside the hotel is Discustingly dirty and smelly where it is just constant madness for 6 months of the year. There are alot of Strip clubs, porn shops and lap dancing clubs on the strip. The Island itself is beautiful and my husband and me were fortunate to see alot of it. For a lovely holiday book a hotel in Kalamaki as its only about 10mins from all these bars in a cab costing maybe 6 euros. it is beautiful and has its a wonderful beach that the turtles go to nest at every year. The boat trips are a must, we went to Keri Islands and saw the caves and also went turtle spotting on a seperate trip.
I have never ever made a complaint about anything in my life, I am a DJ from London so can tolerate a certain amount of stress, but this really took the "do da". I am also complaining to the companies involved in the booking of my honeymoon as they don't tell you anything when you book....4 Star...I DONT THINK SO MORE LIKE A 2 STAR!!!
Please dont give this hotel your money, we found out that the man who owns it is one of the richest on the island......Probably because he's ripping everyone off!
Definately would go back to greece, but never to The Majestic Spa!!!

I got back yesterday and want to go back already.
THE ROOM- nice and modern, the beds are really comfy, the only down point is that you have to pay for air con. and a safe, which we did and definately didn't regret it!
THE POOL- nice and cold for when you start sizzling on the sun beds. It was quite hard to get sun beds, but thats probably because we didn't emerge from the room until 2ish every day.
THE FOOD- before i went i read loads of reviews which said the food wasn't good, but we all really enjoyed it apart from a couple of picky people. There was a nice variety of standard food and greek food. We only saw breakfast ont he last day as we had to get up early it was okayyyy.
THE STRIP- rescue club is the best club to go to for a dance, down the whole strip there's so many drinks deals, but they're all watered down which in a way keeps you going until 6/7 am
WHITE PARTY- waste of money unless you get drunk before!

Visited the majestic as a group of young people ranged from 23-38. Not massive clubbers but also liking a few this location was spot on. Despite being based on a busy strip, the hotel itself was very quiet.
Reception, pool area and rooms welcoming and very clean. Staff not the smiliest of people but were very helpful and will have a laugh with you if you are positive with them.
Be careful of air-conditioning charges. Some travel companies do not put this in the price and you are expected to pay an extra 5 euros per night if this is the case.
All inclusive meals very of excellent standard, as all inclusive goes. Plenty of choice, pasta, salads, different cooked meats, fish, rice, chips, plenty of desert including unlimited ice-cream! Limited choice on snacks between meals but to be honest if you eat well for breakfast and lunch you certainly won't feel the hunger pangs. Drinks two at a time - plenty for anyone to carry! And although the limits may seem frustrating this is understandable for a hotel trying to maintain standards for so many customers and having only one bar staff!
Rooms were cleaned every day. Maids very pleasant and helpful. Clean towels and sheets every other day.
Spa and gym available at cost.
We had a great time and would consider this location again. Not perfect for any stuck up snobs who expect to be treated like royalty but great for fun-loving couples/groups who want to have a good time and appreciate good standards and hard workers.

i stayed all inclusive with my friend on a mad week of partying we are both 24 and male.
at this hotel i can't really say a bad thing about the hotel although when i arrived we were sent to an other hotel paid by majestic spa because off goldtrail going bust but the hotel paid al taxi's tyo and from hotel to hotel and on return after one day we were given free safe and air con for a week.
rooms were cleaned daily any request we made like asking for clean towels and stuff were done imediatly for us food is average to be honest same every day though but it good food just boring as it same every day
there was a lot off serbian people in hotel very little british in comparison.
but zante is great place and hotel i think is nicest on the island. it is right in the heart off it all so great location when all inclusive drink is finished you can go to the club/pub called fishbowl and get same drinks u were drinking at hotel for a euro so that is good place to start a night out.

Came back from this hotel 25/7/10 . Staff exceptionally rude and unhelpful , was booked and paid as allinclusive . Was only allowed to get two drinks per persons this included pop , after ten o clock only one drink per person , after 11:00 pm all drinks had to be paid for . Snacks available where sandwiches and when asked for they where given begrudgingly and that was the only cold snack available . The warm snacks consisted of reheated chips . I went on this holiday with two teenagers i wouldnt class this hotel as allinclusive or family orientated .
