Having arrived at short notice we were unable due to time constraints to find alternative accomodation and were asked to pay in advance for the last room available and not surprisingly the 'best' room on offer.
We were welcomed if that is the word for it by the owner who advised us that we could not stay out too late and could not give us a room key and therefore would have to call him to open the door to obtain entry.
Whilst our room was clean it did resemble a furniture shop with a number of price tags on the decor within the room - a side-line business for selling reconstituted tat to unsuspecting guests. This hotel was devoid of any practical use and i guess was suggested that should be nice on the eye if nothing else.
The most worrying aspect of staying in the showroom was that we could not get out of the hotel without the owners say so and were in fact assigned to our room under duress until the front door was unlocked (apparently for safety !?).
We had to leave first thing in the morning which left said owner very unhappy that he had to get out of his slumber at 6am to let us out - absolutely ridiculous !
Pompous, rude, unhelpful - i could go on but will leave it to the people that enjoy the company of a jibbering fool, you can decide.
On my advice go get a tent !!!!
