If anyone is looking for a well priced, central Dublin Hotel, this is a very good choice. We had a triple room for just over £32 pp per night, with a huge breakfast included. The room was really comfortable, with a small but very clean en-suite & excellent shower. We also had tv & heating, and tea/coffee making facilities which was very well stocked. The website does state that there is a hostel attached, but this is not detrimental. The reception staff, cleaning staff & servers in the breakfast room were all excellent, and worked really well & quickly. There were many nationalities staying at The Townhouse, and everyone we spoke with agreed that it was a first rate place to stay. We were approximately 100 metres from the Spike, and there is a bus stop outside ( the No. 41 will take you back to the Airport for less than 2 euros). The DART does pass at the bottom of the road, but I doubt that you will hear it. All in all, a very good, well priced hotel, with the tour bus stop approx. 8 minutes walk away.
