Overall the hotel was nice it needs some minor renovations and new beds. The beds were awful so was the smell of my room and the rooms of the other three families that were visiting the resort. The service was great as was the kids club employees. Visit Los Gallios (mexican cusine) it was yummy!!!

Crown Paradise is absolutely fantastic for all as we have now stayed at this hotel as a couple and latterly as a family. Going back again this year and this will be my 6th visit.
Loads to choose from for eating either between the buffet restaurant or one of the others. Italian restaurant has recently been rebuilt due to hurricane and it is totally stunning.
Have never stayed at a hotel where the kids clubs are so good. The water park is an absolute dream for young kids and my young son is often singing the hotels songs and telling everyone that he is going back to Cancun.
Only down side is that they have a traditional mexican band which comes into the hotel almost every night which we renamed the carousel and it would drive anyone round the bend. This aside you don't need to listen to it as you have the english style put or the more family orientated area which you can go to.
I must visit for anyone going to Cancun with kids as don't know any other hotels in Cancun which cater for kids so much.

It was our first time staying in Mexico and it had to have been the best holiday we have ever been on!
The hotel was amazing. Good all day entertainment with a cabaret show at night in the hotel's theatre. The staff also made you feel very welcome (especially a barman named Miguel; ask him for his special "welcome drink"!), they spoke good English and were always willing to deal with enquiries. The restaurants were fabulous; we tried out the Italian restaurant (better than any Italian restaurant back in England! So much so, we went there twice!), the Mexican restaurant (a great choice when wanting to sample some of the local flavours) and we also took advantage of the buffet restaurant which served up everything from sandwiches to Chinese stir fries. I particularly recommend the smoothies at breakfast, there was a large choice of fresh fruit to choose from and a helpful member of staff would blend it all up for you.
The Pool area was very friendly and clean; however I do recommend wearing shoes at midday as the ground got very hot! There were two bars around the pool serving everything from water to alcoholic slush puppies! There was current music played all day and the entertainment team were always doing something. Even if you didn’t want to join in the fun and games, it was always a giggle to sit and watch others making fools of themselves! The Beach was excellent, it was literally like a 10 second walk from the pool to the hotel's own private white sand beach. Jumping the rolling waves was probably our only exercise all week! Also, on our first day we watched a member of staff hatching out baby turtles that had been washed up on the beach, an amazing experience!
The hotel isn't in central Cancun however we often used the bus stop directly outside the hotel to get to one of the shopping centres or just to have a walk around central Cancun. If you're going to Mexico, you MUST take a bus ride, the drivers make up their own Highway Code rules and some don't even bother using the bus stops, they just stop anywhere they can! What’s more, a one way ticket only set us back around 30p! The shopping centres are also very good, lots of genuine designer a lot cheaper than anywhere in England!
The rooms in our hotel were also very good; the air conditioning was a god send! There were also lots of English TV channels. The maid service was excellent and very efficient. We had a sea view balcony which for a majority of the time, was in the shade which was useful for when the sun got too much!! There was a safety deposit box in our room which came in very useful and we also had a fridge so we could keep our bottles of water chilled.
Overall, it really was a 10/10 hotel. It really cannot be faulted and if I could, I really would go back every year!!

This was our honeymoon destination & first time in Mexico!!
The beaches were fantastic, never seen anything like them before & at the beginning of May were lovely and quiet.
We stayed in the Crown Club rooms which were fab & extremely clean, the maids worked hard every day to keep them in tip top condition. There was a mini bar in our room & we did encounter problems getting it restocked everdyay which drove my hubby mad! There is also a VIP room/bar that can be used which was nice now and again to chill out.
The French restaurant was the best in my opinion, the food was delicious & because it was formal dress, you really feel like you're going somewhere special. Waynes Boots was good too, the others ok. There is a big buffet restaurant with all you can it, but after a week, eating the same lost its appeal. The only problem was you had to be up at 8am to book for the restaurants, otherwise you couldn't get in & we found on one night everything was shut & we had to make do with chips from the snack bar. There were a couple of restaurants still shut & under refurbishment. Room service is pretty bland too. We did venture out to eat but found it so expensive we only did it the once.
The hotel is huge with loads of pools & great for kids and overall really good. The staff were friendly but expect tips for everything.
I'd definitely recommend this to families or couples but not singles!!

Stayed at the CPC 06/02/2007 to 13/02/2007.
We stayed in a Jacuzzi room which was amazing. The hotel was clean and well looked after.
Staff were all very nice but they expect tips 24/7, which can get a bit of a pain after a while.
The food was very good with a lot of variety. You have to book in advance to go to some of the restaurants, as it is busy and you can’t always get in apart from the buffet.
The weather wasn’t great when we went had about 2 days out of 7 of sun the rest very very cloudy believe the internet weather reports as they are quite accurate well they were for us.
Entertainment staff were fantastic and work very hard as well as the bar staff. The adult only pool is good with a swim up bar and two hot tubs.
Very hard to get a sun bed as very busy.
Overall a very good holiday just wish weather was better try doing some activities really good.

I must say this is the best holiday I have ever had and one of the main reasons for this being the hotel and hotel staff! Food was absolutely lovely did not experience one bad meal whilst there.
We upgraded our room and it was lovely got cleaned twice a day. It had a big jacuzzi in and massive mini bar.
We went swimming with the dolphins which I would advise anybody to do as it is an unforgettable experience. We also went on the pirates cruise; the show and food whilst on the ship were amazing!
We went out most nights with the entertainment staff who where great, especially Donavan and Chris. They took care of you all night and made sure you always had a drink. Coco Bongos was my favourite club, I'd have to say the shows are amazing, my favourites being Spiderman and the Guns and Roses one. Bull dog was a very nice club aswell, and senior frogs brings out the crazieness in you.
All in all this was my best holiday ever and will be returning to Cancun and the Crown Paradise every year!

This is my second visit to Mexico but my first to Cancun. What can I say? There was some building work ongoing at the hotel but this was limited to one restaurant and didn’t disturb us.
I travelled with my niece who is 23yrs. She and I had a blast.
Firstly the room we had was great, needed modernising but was certainly liveable. The shower was a power shower! We had satellite TV, phone, which we used as we met sooo many people and Air Conditioning.
One drawback, the air-con was limited in control either Hi-Low or off which wasn’t that sophisticated but nevertheless helpful.
We had a security lock on the door beyond normal, which we used to keep the maid out as she liked to call first thing. She soon understood and left us alone until we'd gone out. The other drawback was the safety deposit box, our room didn’t work. So, we locked our important things in a suitcase with a lock on and they were safe.
The hotel staff were great too. Henry on reception kept promising to come out on his night off, but we kept missing him. They are all friendly and we made some friends for life.
The Adult Pool on the first floor was my favourite place during the day. Setiel the best barman of all worked there during our stay made the best cocktails and if anyone hears Westlife Tribute Album being played, friend of ours left it there for him. He loved it.
We ate in all the restaurants, Wayne’s Boots was great but be careful of the bucking bronco, and I went on it after a couple of Vodkas and ended up with a beautiful black bruise on my butt. It was all good fun and a talking point at the pool.
We met so many people from the UK, the Northwest to be precise it was fabulous, we've also all kept in touch too!
Don’t go to Cancun without going downtown, Coco Bongo's is the best! Batman caught my eye and the Passion of Christ was fantastic, not a bit in bad taste. Cuban Pete had it for me! All in all coco's had it going on!
Senior Frogs fab, The City for the youth in you, Margaretaville say hello to Charlie, and plenty more that I can’t remember, I think we did the circuit.
All in all Cancun was great, I'll certainly be going again and would definitely go to the same hotel. The Lobby Bar is good fun with Ceasar, Georgie and Vincent the barman making it an enjoyable moment.
Every night is party night at the hotel so don’t hesitate get booking and remember the Mexicans don’t get paid a fortune so tips are essential and they have recovered from Hurricane Wilma extremely well. Bear in mind that some parts are still a little rough and ready, but come on they're making the best of a bad situation.
Too many people are critical of Cancun, what do they expect, the people are fantastic and make your stay welcome. How well would we English cope if we had the threat of hurricanes and the devastation it leaves behind. As Coco Bongos say "we're still here and then some!”
Excellent time had by all....

Excellent time had by all. Cancun has recovered well after last years hurricane.
The Crown Paradise Club is an excellent hotel. Although rooms could do with a bit of updating as style is a bit old fashioned.
Ideal for families with a Five star kids and baby club both having own pool areas.
Brilliant choice of food. Nothing too much trouble for the staff in any of the restaurants. Scrummy desserts!!!!
The entertainment staff were brilliant, with staff from all over including the uk, America, Mexico and Canada entertaining you all day. We did not take full advantage of the shows until the last couple of nights but wish we had visited sooner as they were superb and included circus shows dancing and a show for the kids.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

Had an absolutely excellent holiday here in March/April of this year. The hotel was still undergoing some work due to the devastation that the hurricane had caused but this hardly effected our holiday and we had a great time.
Went with my partner (aged 34) and my son (aged 16 months) and we were all catered for exceptionally well. They had a baby club which had friendly English-speaking staff and we could leave him in there all day if we had wanted and there was no charge. There were children’s clubs for all ages and this gave the adults to have some time to themselves. There were plenty of restaurants and bars with lots of yummy food, and each restaurant had the same children’s menu so there was something to eat for even fussy eaters. Lots of pools, including an adults only one and a children’s water park which looked great fun but we adults were too big sadly.
The beach was beautiful, and there was a hotel bar on the beach. The drinks were flowing, the staff were excellent and loved the children. We met some nice people, the hotel does seem to attract a lot of Americans, but I think this is normal for everywhere in Cancun. Lots of entertainment round the main pool, dancing, volleyball etc. Not much to do at night but sit around and drink (we weren’t complaining) There was an adults only bar which had pool tables, and a children’s disco which also looked great fun. If you go here, make sure you order the specialty 'Crown Paradise Cocktail' it is delicious!
Overall a top holiday, and we hope to go back again. Also had no complaints about the tour operator. The only problem was that I left a jacket on the plane and had no help getting it back, still didn’t get it back but that’s only a small complaint.

We stayed at the Crown Paradise Club in August 2005. It was the best holiday ever!!!! We stayed in the Crown Club Rooms, the in room Jacuzzi was FAB :-) We had an amazing sea view, mini bar (always fully stocked), double shower and queen sized bed. The room was very clean and well looked after.
On arrival we got a free bottle of champagne and fruit basket - HOW NICE.
There was 5 or 6 gorgeous restaurants, my favourite being Wayne’s Boots stake house. (The best stake I have ever tasted ... MMMMM ) in that restaurant they have a great bucking bronco, great for families!!!! The entertainment was fantastic during the day round the pool... With as much as you want to eat and drink!!!
The hotel is on the beach, close to exciting water sports and activities.
I have never stayed in a hotel like this one.

We had an awful time at this hotel. When we got there it was like a building site, two restaurants and one main bar was closed. The rep was really rude!! Our first room was damp and mould all over the walls and furniture, our second room was slightly better. Not 4* though!!
The pool left yellow stains all over our swimwear and the noise of building went on into the night.
We had things stolen from our room and when we complained to the hotel they implied that we were lying, the reception staff and the manager were really rude!!
The only good thing about this hotel is the entertainment.
I would never go back and never recommend anyone to go there.

After reading lots of reviews on this hotel we were a bit unsure as to what to expect. However, we did not need to worry as we had a fabulous holiday. We could not fault anything about this hotel, the food was plentiful and tasty, lots of entertainment. We took our 6 year old son who actually started to cry because we had to come home!! The kids club was also great and children were allowed to attend from 9.00 in the morning until 10 at night!!!!! If your not sure about going to this hotel please, just go you won’t be disappointed. We were debating to return this year but we enjoy seeing the world so shall be going to Cuba this year but we will return to crown paradise one day.
