Hotel is a bit far out 19 Km to downtown but the buses are cheap and there are plenty of them, its a bit of a climb to the entrance and there is a sewage plant across the road although you are never aware of it. Hotel is a bit tired in places but its clean and well kept and... more

Overall the hotel was nice it needs some minor renovations and new beds. The beds were awful so was the smell of my room and the rooms of the other three families that were visiting the resort. The service was great as was the kids club employees. Visit Los Gallios (mexican cusine) it was yummy!!!

Stayed at the CPC 06/02/2007 to 13/02/2007. We stayed in a Jacuzzi room which was amazing. The hotel was clean and well looked after. Staff were all very nice but they expect tips 24/7, which can get a bit of a pain after a while. The food was very good with a lot of... more

This is the best place in earth
We just returned from the Crown Paradise Club Cancun on Sunday October 27th, 2002. We loved this place so much. The food was great the drinks were great, rooms were awesome, the whole resort was so clean. The staff made our trip very memorible for us. Ricardo, Chello, Rosie, Heather, Jerry, and all the others are awesome! We would definatly recommend this place to everyone. Sincerly, The Crazy Canadians
Crown Paradise: Amazing - had the time of my life
I came back from Cancun on the 16th September, after staying there at Crown Paradise for 2 weeks. It was a truely amazing experience - the hotel is simply brilliant - everything from the impressive balcony views of the ocean, the rooms, to the food variety (the main buffet restaurant is the best place to eat there - I have to say that the Italian restaurant sucked - but maybe thats because we are vegetarian so the variety at that restaurant wasnt good for us??), the staff at the bars/the main buffet restaurant/ information desk who are all so genuinely friendly. The animation team there are brilliant and i think to be one of the hotel's strongest feature - they go out of their way to make everyone have a good time, and its easy to see that they love their jobs. Fabio, Chello, and the main 'chief' (the boss, who wears a feather in his hair) in particular are really cool - bags of energy, and very friendly. They all encourage everyone to get involved with all the water games in the main pool, and host entertainment in the evenings with 'crazy games' karaoke etc, and on our last night, they put on a 'beach party' where they put on a buffet on the beach, had a limbo contest, tug of war and other contests which were a lot fun. I would definetely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Cancun - im so glad we decided to go all inclusive - no need to worry about food, drinks, theres so much to do at the hotel alone, and the shopping malls, downtown cancun and clubland are only minutes away by bus (buses are very cheap and easy to use, and u dont have to wait more than a minute for one) I would definetely stay at this hotel again.
crwon paradise - cancun was paradise
Hi, my sister and I, me being 28 her being 25 stayed at the Crown Paradise from July 11-18. We thought it was absolutely the greatest place on earth. Everyone was so friendly especially the Bartending crew when you first walk into the lobby. We parasailed, and went swimming every day. We liked it so much, that we stayed extra days, and told our husbands our flight was cancelled!! (nothing wrong with a little white lie!) Two days after we arrived back in Calif. we went down to the travel agency and booked another trip for another week. We leave Monday Oct. 14!! We couldn't wait any longer-- we even requested the same room as last stay!! See Ya in Cancun!!!! Sincerely,Priscilla & Summer
CROWN PARADISE CLUB
Just returned from 8 days of bliss at the Crown Paradise Club as opposed to 6 days of HELL at CLUB LAS VELAS
This Place Is AWESOME-carribean village is a dump
This place is the best resort in the world!!!!!!! I went here and then went to Carribean Village which is a complete dump, I wouldn't send my worst enemy there! I had the absolute time of my life at Crown Paradise Club! I must say I recommned this place highly! Carribean Village is a SEWER, and they treat their guests like animals there!
L:oved the Crown Paradise Club Resort
This has been our second time at the Crown Paradise Club Resort and frankly I hope it's not the last! Food, Staff and Service within this highly rated hotel live up to all expectations! Anyone who has a complaint at this hotel is in our opinion very hard to please, as everything is on tap for you when you require. Staff go out of their way to help and please you especially Gerrado. This has been a holiday of a lifetime for us especially on our wedding in June 2001 and this year for our first anniversary. My 12 year old son also who joined this year loved every minute of it and did not wish to return home. Unfortunately prices are becoming too high to afford so we doubt if it will be affordable to us for some time yet. The only thing I would criticise the Crown Paradise is for evening entertainment. It could be better but from 2001 to 2002 it has most certainly improved. Keep up the good work!!! See you soon
loved it until hurricane isidore
For the first seven days of our stay, we really enjoyed the CPC. We upgraded to a Club room in the 2nd tower. That was definitely worth it. The room was beautiful. Cesar in the Crown Club is a great bartender!! We enjoyed the restaurants. We liked Wayne's Boot and Los Gallos a lot. We thought the buffet was pretty good- but it got old. We were set to leave Sat and felt pretty good about the trip. We had planned on returning to the CPC......then our flight got canceled because of the hurricane. We had to return from the airport back to the CPC. They put us in a room on the 3rd floor of the first tower. It was really bad. It smelled awful! It was really dark and dinghy. The next morning I had bugbites all over my feet and arms and back!! All this for the bargain basement price of $120- which was supposed to be their special low rate for people who were stranded. We upgraded back up to the Club rooms for the next couple of days. After that, we were pretty disappointed with the place. It was only at about 1/3 capacity due to it being the off-season. They didn't have to put us in such an awful room. Overall, I would recommend it, but only if you are planning to upgrade to a Crown Club room.
Loved it, Best Ever, Go Here!
Awesome Awesome Awesome Go to this place you will have the time of your life.
Excellent Hotel
Just back from Cancun, Crown Paradise Hotel. The staff are excellent, especially the pool staff who organise the pool and beach activities. The food was also excellent, in both the general buffet restaurant and the speciality restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the crown paradise. We also went on three excursions, the dolphin swin was excellent, the jungle tour is well worth doing (no real jungle) which consists of getting to drive your own two person speed boat with some snorkelling mid way through. The Chitzen Itza pyramid trip is one of the few cultural excursion within travelling distance of cancun (around 2 hours by coach), and you can climb to the top of the pyramid.
CPC Cancun... EXCELLENT!!!!
What can I say, 2 weeks in Cancun what an excellent time we had. Just returned on the 14th September 2002 The CPC hotel is brilliant. There are 2 blocks new and old. We were in the old and all you have to remember is that fact that it is 20+ yrs old. But having said that its clean, air conditioned, has cable TV and the views are impressive. The staff are all friendly and make you feel like royalty and your rooms are cleaned and sheets changed daily. I must say the food is good and there is a great deal of variety, 1 buffet and 5 restaurants you cant really go wrong. I’m not must a salad eater but hey in a All Inclusive package, order 2 main meals one as a starter and one as your main… The Entertainment team are brilliant, they start at 9am until 5pm. Activities include pool volley/polo/aerobics, beach volley and many more including activities for the kids. Fabio, Alex are cool, very helpful lads not forgetting the local lad Paul from Huddersfield With the number of pools including one indoor and kids, football pitch, tennis court, mini golf and ping pong and 8 bars, 1 of which open until 2, shops and the beach at your door step, you just can’t get bored. Be ready for all the dancing, partying or just lazing around, it’s all there at the CPC. Please, please, please go and see the Turtle in the small tank in the Jewelry shop next to the lobby bar… We tried to rescue it but failed miserably. If anyone is successful at setting the poor blighter free please send me a mail and let me know, ill be able to rest easy… Useful information: When asking for vodka and for Smirnoff if you don’t you’ll end up with some cheap foul tasting brand. Visit Xel –Ha – Largest natural aquarium, try to spend the whole day here. Do the Jungle Tour – speed boat out to the ocean and snorkeling Swim with the Dolphins Check out the nightlife. DO NOT buy the AIRTOURS outings! The hotel reps take you out every night to different bars/clubs. Meet in Lobby at 11pm. DO NOT buy the AIRTOURS Phone cards (Rip Off!) Visit the Mayan Ruins Chk out the public beach near ‘Playa Langosta’ opposite the Huge Mexican flag. If you go out for a meal take your Credit Card!!!!! Visit the Flee Market – REMEMBER whatever price they quote you, minus 50% – 60 % off. HAGGLE HAGGEL HAGGEL!!!!!! There are some good deals to be had Take the Bus, 6 Pesos per person Exchange money at bank of the small booth at on the streets or the flee market But ALWAYS check and count the money before you move on!!!! If you would like anymore information just send me an email… Ce Ya… ;o)
