fab escape for chilling or walking your socks off,beautiful scenery near to the lakes and wainright walks and the start of the coast to coast walk,amazing meals served in the village pubs everyone friendly and whitehaven is only 5mins if you start missing tesco.maryport and many other places to visit are near by on the train just as cheap as bus fares.i do recomend you walk up st bees head if you can,the views are wow wow and on a clear day you can see the isle of man x

Unhelpful disinterested staff, ex static gravel pitches for tourers with bad drainage. Terrible access through static caravan lines. Toilet shower block dull, smelly, wet and not cleaned for the 4 days we were there.
"Hotel" dated and unappealling, food OK but not great.
Wouldn't visit again or recommend to anyone.
